Is primary role useless?

I've played at least 20 games now where I have not received the primary role I fill in. I've been getting the secondary role for the longest time now. I'm okay with getting my secondary role every now and then but EVERYTIME? Fix your shit Riot.

I don't know about you guys but I do not mind waiting an extra 5 minutes just to get the role I want to play. I see the secondary role as a useless feature since no one actually wants to play their secondary role. Otherwise why would they pick a primary role?

Someone enlighten me on the purpose of the secondary role other than making wait times shorter because I do not have a problem with waiting what-so-ever.

It might be because your primary is a too popular role. Dont get me wrong i think that must be lame to always queue up and basically never get your role. I dont have a problem since i main Support so i basically get queued up instantly!

Because there have been complaints about wait times as it is and they will only be made longer by allowing players to select only one role each time. Not everyone wants to or are even able to wait 20+ minutes to get in a game.

Because 95% of people want to go mid and top, that's why they always spam it in blind pick then go "no i mid" in hilariously broken English :P
