Stats: Attack - 70% Health - 50% Magic - 70% Difficulty - 90%

Attributes: Fighter

Abilities: Passive - Evasive Maneuvers If Aravel is being chased by an enemy champion, Aravel will perform an Aileron Roll which for 1 second, will cause all incoming projectiles to pass Aravel and turn into projectiles that will impact any target or large terrain. This ability has a cool down of ten seconds per target. This passive will not stack if it is activated.

First Ability - Heavy Machine Gun For 4 seconds, Aravel fires his aircraft's heavy machine gun in a straight line in front of him and deal physical damage to the first enemy it hits. The attack will stack the longer the target is under fire.

Second Ability - Visual Counter Measures VCM for short, Aravel activates his Visual Counter Measures for 4 seconds. On the first second, the next enemy homing projectiles that are targeting him are blocked (Does not work on Turret projectiles or ultimate attacks). For the total 4 seconds, a small area around Aravel is blocked from the enemy radar and can only see Aravel if he is in front of them. Enemies seeing Aravel while this is activated does not give visual to their allies

Third Ability - Secondary Missiles Aravel has a selection of special missiles that can be bought from the shop. Each of them have their own effects. -Multi-Warhead: Aravel can fire multiple missiles at once upon activation. Each missile will pursue their own target and deal magic damage. On the first upgrade, it can fire up to 2 missiles. On the third upgrade, it can fire up to 4. On it's final upgrade, it will fire 6. -Enhanced Homing Missiles Once Aravel buys this, he starts off with a homing missile that can deal magic damage upon impact of the first target. These missiles can be evaded by targets taking sharp turns. However, Aravel's upgrade gives these rockets better homing capability and speed. First upgrade gives basic homing missiles that deal more damage. Second, gives Aravel a remote guided cone that will give the missile more accuracy as the target remains within the cone. Final upgrade will allow the missile to no longer miss but it will still be blocked by large terrain or other targets. -High Caliber Missiles: Although it does not have the best homing capability, impact from this attack will deal tons of damage. The higher the upgrade, the more damage it deals. It does not impact monsters or minions however so every shot must count. High Caliber Missiles do not last. Aravel can only fire one missile at a time, up to 8 missiles total and it does not recharge. Returning to base, however will resupply these missiles.

Ultimate - Dog Fight Mode Aravel gets up close and personal with his targets. While chasing an enemy from behind, he can activate this ability which will allow him to continue chasing the target, mimicking their movement speed, including ultimate abilities. The enemy target will greatly lose turning capabilities once dog fight mode is under effect. This ability will last for 6 seconds or until the enemy collides into a wall which will stun them for the remaining seconds of activation of the ability. If Aravel is hit by stuns, roots, or launching crowd control effects, he would take severe amount of damage depending on the movement speed of Aravel and the speed of the counter force.

Special Passive - Top Ace While playing a match with an ally Corki, if Aravel and Corki are after the same target, the first one to land a killing blow will take double the gold. If Corki is on the other team, they will both gain double the gold if they kill each other.

Lore: Aravel use to be Corki's friendly rival ace pilot during their missions together before they both had to retire from their ace piloting career. Anytime they are on a mission, they both wanted to see who will take out the most enemies by the end of their operation. Sometimes, Aravel manages to out do Corki but in the end, it has always been a tie breaker for the two ace pilots. Both would have a drink afterwards. It was sad to see that they were no longer able to continue their rivalry because of retirement.

After leaving his career, Aravel didn't settle with sky riding like Corki did. Because he had financial difficulties afterwards, he had to get a low budget job as a farmer which is what his parents wanted him to be. Both his parents tried denying Aravel's dream of becoming an Ace Pilot but his eagerness and fascination with the skies kept him pursuing this career. He even ran away to the city of progress to begin his career. But now he sees a good reason why his parents wanted him to be a farmer. His career became obsolete. His parents are glad he is finally working as a farmer but Aravel thinks this job is just a waste of time but he needed the money to trade in crops, or even use crops to feed him and his parents. Every day, he farms, he would look up at the skies, remembering the good old days, taking on dog fights, flying through hot zones, even outdoing his friendly rival, Corki, during their operations.

Aravel was desperate in finding a way to resume his dog fighting career so he flies away from his home, using the aircraft he was given in his career, blowing off the dust during the flight.

He flies over to many other cities to find a way of making use of his plane but none of the cities have much use of ace pilots. . . At least not for military work.

Aravel learns that Corki and his colleague, Heimerdinger have participated in the League of Legends. Seeing that there are many different champions from all over Valoran, favoring the ones that fly high in the air, Aravel will rise up into the skies once more. But first, he requested Heimerdinger and his rival, Corki, to help repair and upgrade his aircraft so that he can participate with Corki once more and continue their friendly rivalry in seeing who is the top ace.

"Whoever out do's the other ace will be the top earner," - Aravel

Tips: Playing as Aravel - -Dog Fight Mode has a very high risk. It is much safer to pursue an enemy through straight lanes. -Take time to aim with Missiles. Every hit will count. -Aravel is all about keep the enemy on sight. Make sure your enemies remain in front of you to land more effective attacks. -Dog Fight Mode will allow Aravel to continue pursuing his targets no matter what movement abilities they use. For example, Aravel will mimic Nocturne's Paranoia traveling capability even if Nocturne is moving really fast.

Playing against Aravel - -If Aravel unleashes Dog Fight Mode, lure him behind turrets or into team attacks. -Aravel doesn't have much use of Dog Fight Mode in team fights so he is a very easy target to go after despite his fire power. -Even if Visual Counter Measures is activated, you can move the camera to the position where it is active. Especially if an ally can see Aravel. The ability only effects the map.

Team Play: Synergy: -Corki Because the two love to out do each other, Corki's Gatling Gun would lower enemy armor, giving Aravel's Heavy Machine even more damage to stack against the target. Aravel is most likely to get the kill, though so more gold for him. -Kalista Kalista's Sentinel will become very handy when finding Aravel a target to pick a dog fight with afterwards. -Kayle Nothing is more satisfying than having a wing man on his side, or in this case, a winged woman with a sword and armor. Like a guardian angel, Kayle would use Intervention to protect Aravel as he pursues his target with Dog Fight Mode, blocking incoming strong attacks as he unleashes his.

Struggles Against: -Alistar Those two mighty horns show what happens when people ask for trouble. Aravel would risk crashing in a dog fight if Alister is ready to head butt his ship. -Azir The Emperor of Shurima does not like to have the sun blocked by a piece of metal while trying to get tanned. Emperor's Divide would make a big impact on his ship, making Aravel nothing but a little fly smacked on a golden plate. -Sion An Unstoppable Onslaught like this would mean a disastrous impact for the ace pilot. The fact that Aravel and Sion both move fast would mean a devastating collision for Aravel if he bumps into Sion during the charge.

So, how is my champion? Feel free to leave a comment. I'll be happy to hear from you.
