I would love to discuss and clarify any questions about the champion you can come up with. Criticism is welcome, but keep it constructive.

Currently I've only got the Kit up and running, I'll create the lore soon!

Abilities

P - Wightborn - PASSIVE: Once every 10 seconds, Rahn gathers a Soul Shard and closes his wounds, healing himself for x + 5% of his missing health.

  • Soul Shards last for 7 seconds and decay one at a time. Rahn may store up to 5 Soul Shards at once. Soul Shards serve as a resource for Rahn's Abilities
  • Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of this effect by 0.5 seconds, killing a unit reduces the cooldown by 1 second.

Intended as a means of sustain in the jungle or in a lane. Fuels other abilities and gates their use through the generation of Soul Shards.

Q - Zeal - ACTIVE: Rahn consumes a Soul Shard to become invisible and surge towards the targeted enemy around terrain and units. If Rahn makes contact with the targeted enemy he deals physical damage and applies on-hit effects.

  • The Targeting range of this ability is longer than the dash range of the ability, and it is possible to not reach your target with this spell.

  • Cooldown: 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 Seconds
  • Cost: 1 Soul Shard
  • Targeting Radius: 1000 (You can target any enemy unit within a 1000 distance radius of yourself)
  • Dash Distance**: 850 (You move up to 850 Distance total towards your target, moving around terrain, units, etc.)
  • Damage: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 + 100% of total AD + on+hit effects

This spell is intended to be used as a gap closer of a different breed. You do not go over walls with this spell, instead you move around them with great speed. In this way are blink-like abilities an effective tool against Rahn. (Flash is a good example). Zeal goes in hand with his next ability fairly well.

W - Dark Invocation - PASSIVE: Rahn gains Bonus Attack Damage equal to 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30% of his Ability Power. ACTIVE: Rahn clears his mind and consumes a Soul Shard, channeling for up to 3 seconds gaining a Soul Shard each second he channels.

  • During the channel, Rahn closes his eyes and casts his mind outwards over the surrounding area, removing his vision of the immediate area and revealing enemies in an expanding radius around himself.
  • Units detected by this ability are revealed for an additional 2 seconds afterwards. If Rahn strikes an enemy revealed by this spell with Zeal, the cooldowns of both Zeal and Dark Invocation are reduced by 2 / 3/ 4 / 5 / 6 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 14 Seconds
  • Cost: 1 Soul Shard (2 Shards gained)
  • Detection Range: 800 / 1000 / 1200 / 1400 / 1600 (Over 3 Seconds)

Rahn's Main utility spell, aside from his ultimate. It's fairly simple, but does a few things all at once:

  • Rahn channels for 3 seconds, gaining a Soul Shard each second he channels
  • He loses his immediate vision for the Duration of the channel, instead revealing enemies in an ever-widening zone around himself as he channels, units within this zone are revealed to Rahn and his allies for 2 seconds.
  • If Rahn lands Zeal on a revealed target, the cooldowns of both Zeal and Dark Invocation are reduced, based on Dark Invocation's rank.

E - Forbidden Psalm - ACTIVE: Rahn consumes a Soul Shard to utter a forbidden word of power, rapidly engraving a runic symbol at the targeted location over 0.375 seconds. Enemies standing above the symbol once it completes hear the whispered word, becoming marked with Reverberation for 3 seconds.

  • Enemies marked with Reverberation detonate after 3 seconds, dealing magic damage to themselves, then dealing half that damage to surrounding enemies and fearing them for 0.5 seconds. Enemies marked with Reverberation that cast a spell are silenced for the remaining duration and they detonate immediately. Enemies take 50% less damage from consecutive explosions.

  • Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 Seconds
  • Cost: 1 Soul Shard
  • Range: 650
  • Area of Effect: 150
  • Detonation Radius: 150

Another somewhat complicated spell, basically:

  • Rahn summons a symbol at the targeted area, enemies above the targeted area are marked for 3 seconds.
  • After the mark expires, it detonates, dealing magic damage to the primary target and dealing reduced damage/fearing nearby enemies.
  • If the marked enemy casts a spell while marked, they are silenced for the remaining duration and detonate early.

R - Death's Door - ACTIVE: Rahn Consumes two soul shards to pry the Doors of Death wide at both his current location and the targeted location within 1500 Distance. The Doors become fully open after 2 seconds, and last for 9 seconds.

  • When Rahn steps through the Doors of Death he inflicts Terror in the hearts of nearby enemies within 200-radius distance of the Gate for 1.5 seconds.
  • All champions, friend and foe, may use the Doors of Death once every 9 seconds.
  • Rahn may activate this spell a second time to close the Doors of Death at his starting location to open another Gate at the targeted location within 750 distance of himself in half the time, keeping the gates open for an additional 4.5 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 90 / 75 / 60 Seconds
  • Cost: 2 Soul Shards / 1 Soul Shard

Plenty of room for tricking enemies and assisting allies, the Gates would not allow Enemies to see the destination unless they already had vision of it. This ability actually has the highest cost of any of his abilities, but the low cooldown and high utility of this spell are, in my opinion, worth the cost.

The W is way too powerful for 0 cost. It should cost at least 1 shard (so you get a net gain of 2 shards).

This. Is. AMAZING. only critique I have is that his passive would make him practically unkillable, better healing than garen almost. And just based off of his kit his "Champion Identity" seems similar to azir, but overall if Riot made this a champ I would insta buy :D
