How I would Rework Teemo
I have played league since mid season 2 to , the whole time mainly playing Teemo. I am not the best teemo main around, but as one I feel that I can give my opinion on him.
I do not like the PBE changes Riot has been proposing, and rather then complain I just wanna toss ideas at a wall and see what sounds reasonable for Teemo.
Keeping with the scout theme, a passive that goes like this may work
Passive: "Scout's Post"
- After standing still, or in a bush, and not taking damage for 2 seconds will go invisible until he travels 1/3/5 (levels 6/11/16) Teemos away from the bush or initial spot. While invisible Teemo gains 400 additional vision range and can see over walls and his bonus 50/100/150 (levels 6/11/16) on his next 3 attacks (damaging spells and abilities).
This gives teemo a poke period that is safer than his current 500 attack range and allows a scouting of objectives without a ward (giving him more utility for a team).
The only other change I would make is to his move quick (W)
W: "Duck and Cover"
- Cost 40 mana Cool down 18/16/14/12/10
-Passive: Teemo gains "Move Quick" providing an additional 10/14/18/22/26% bonus movement speed if teemo has not taken damage from champions or towers for 5 seconds.
-Active: Teemo rolls/summer-salts units equal to his current movement speed, can go over walls and terrain. "Duck and Cover" also refreshes "Move Quick" and making it not fall off from damage for the next 3 seconds, granting 20/30/40/50/60% attack speed bonus for 3 seconds.
- If Teemo "Duck and Cover"s into a bush he immediately goes invisible gaining "Scout's Post"
Because of this added power I would take his E poison down 5-10% on hit AP ratio and 5% damage over time AP ratio.
I am a teemo Fan boy and this is a dream list, but I think it could be tuned by
- Altering the vision and attack range bonus
-Lowering the number of bonus ranged attacks that can be made.
-Keeping or removing the ability to see over terrain
-Increasing the W CD
-Altering the distance or part move speed plays in the dash
-Not allowing passing through terrain
-Altering the Attack speed gained, duration
-Altering the "Move Quick" damage immunity
-Removing the instant stealth into a bush.
- Overall number reduction to account for increased power level/safety
I think there are enough knobs to balance this and make teemo a viable utility support and good
Reasons I think this is alright come down to the fact without mobility or a way to do some thi gs besides shroom with some safety, teemo needs larger numbers to be relevant.
This just makes him more oppressive to people when he is good, and horrible when bad. I just feel he needs non-number balance points that allow more skill expression and a more stable power level
