A way to make Support items that are useless for mages

If we have a +20% shield to others item, or a +20% heals on others item or something else like item 3504 where it gives others a bonus but not self, then those items would be great for supports and not so great for mages. Just a thought.

I voted no for the following reasons:

  1. Supports also needs stats.

  2. Auras are not interactive.

  3. Buying items should be a choice to influence YOUR gameplay not the one of your adc

  4. It isnt really a problem anymore due to these items having tradeoffs for midlaners(FQC is not really used in mid anymore athenes and morellos are just better)

  5. im a selfish piece of ** and want to buy item 3092 onZiggs and Syndra after the mage update, to have atleast a little bit of mana regen.

Ardent censure is already a relatively under-powered item... The utility not affecting you would be kinda stupid. Considering it is already a subpar item.

You mean like:

Athene's Unholy Grail

Recipe Change: Chalice + Fiendish Codex + 300 Gold = 2100 Total Gold Total Cost: 2700 --> 2100 Ability Power: 60 --> 40 Mana Regeneration: 100% --> 75% Magic Resistance: 25 --> 25 (Unchanged) Cooldown Reduction: 20% --> 20% (Unchanged) Mana Passive: Mana Passives on Kill or Assist have been removed. New Passive: Gain 15% of premitigation damage dealt to champions as Blood charges, up to 100 to 270 (based on level). Healing or shielding another ally consumes Blood Charges to heal that ally.
