I know Ekko got another skin since his release but pls tell me your not done with him for a long while? I really enjoy plying Ekko he's my favorite champion to play. Like over 100k mastery pints on him. Got him on release hour and loved him. Love his kit, love his story, just love everything about him. It's why I'm sad that his only skin aside from sandstorm (which is a good skin) is Academy which I really am not fond of. I just really want to get a better skin than Academy Ekko.[zombie-nunu-tears]

Set in the time of Knockout Lee Sin and Media Jinx. Ekko is still a boy struggling with adversity, but in this idea he's the Paper Boy giving all Zaunians their daily Herald ^^. I wish I could draw this concept ;;

I feel you. I love everything about Ekko, but I'm not super attached to any of his skins out right now The other day, my friends and I were talking about this. Hextech Ekko and PROJECT: Ekko skins were brought up as ideas

Hiya!

TL;DR - it doesn't necessarily mean you won't see another skin for him for a year or more. We've still got a lot of the year to go, so there are still plenty of opportunities for Ekko, and many other champions to receive another skin.

they probably have a lot of skins in the work, its just about when to release them. a lot of champs will get new skins with their reworks/ after their reworks, and some champs may get holiday themed ones. one thing i can tell you for sure is no matter how much yo uask or want to know, even if they were gunna release an ekko skin in a week, they wouldn't give any info on it.

You're right, we do have a ton in the works at any given time, and even more lined up a bit more long term. Champions who have larger reworks lined up won't see a new skin until their rework is complete. And you're right, if someone is slated for an upcoming holiday skin, there's a good chance you won't see a skin for them until x holiday.

Aaand, as you've pointed out, we generally don't discuss what may or may not be in development in terms of skins for a champion. :)

Hi Katey!

Just out of curiosity, how many skins do you have on the work at any given time? We know the champion team has a bunch of (IIRC 4-5) champs in the making at various stages of developement, what about skins? IIRC you said it takes a few months to make a skin, is ~~15-20 a reasonable esteem? (3 months time, 2 patches a month, 1~~5 skins per patch with an average of 3)

Heyo!

It varies, honestly. It's a weird breakdown, haha.

So, per patch, we'd have, let's say 3-4 skins in a patch that are actively being developed, so animation, particles audio. We'll also have skins for the following patch being modeled and textured (so again 3-4), and then we'll have stuff several patches out being concepted and ideated on (again, around 3-4). Buuut, this can all vary patch to patch, especially if we have higher tier skins in development, and likewise, if there are a group of 750 RP skins, there may be more in development.

Not necessarily. Unfortunately, I'm not able to tell you if we have something in mind for him or not. (We generally don't discuss what we do/don't have in development for skin 'cause things can change.)

In Ekko's defense, He came out in May of 2015, and already has two skins - Sandstorm on release, and Academy Ekko at the end of August 2015. We try spread the love in terms of skins, and there are certainly other champions who deserve a skin a bit more over Ekko at the moment. :)

Was just strolling by and i just wanted to say that have you experimented with a (Shadow Blade Ekko)? Full clad in armor but instead of using time it was more of a Zed Shadow Technique sort of thing.
