[champion concept] Linao, protector of the rotten forest
>Linao lives in a forest near the shadow isles. The Harrowing passes through the forest every time it happens, by drawing power from both the forest and containing some of the power behind the shadow isles, she is able to keep the forest from being completely destroyed. Linao uses whips made from dead vines and twigs to attack. (500 attack range and her attacks are instant, like thresh and azir) She wears a leather robe with dead vines as her belt. In her hair she has decorations made from dead plants. On her robe she has additional protection made from wood at multiple areas.
Passive - Wild Cuts: >Whenever Linao basic attacks, she swings her vines wildly, creating cuts in enemy units in a small cone in front of her. Whenever Linao uses a spell that drains health on a target affected by these cuts, she gains a shield equal to 5% of the healing she got from it and it will deal 5% increased damage to the target. These cuts stack up to 3 times, increasing the damage and portion of healing converted into a shield.
Q - Sap Life | 14/13/12/11/10 second cooldown | cost: 55/65/75/85/100 mana >Linao drains the life from enemies in the target area, dealing 80/105/150/205/260 + 65% ap magic damage to them and healing Linao for 30% of the damage dealt. If a Rotting Shrub is in the affected area, Linao will destroy the plant, healing for 30/35/40/45/50% of the energy stored in it. If multiple Rotting Shrubs are in the affected area, she destroys and heals from the one with the largest amount of stored energy, while leaving the rest of the plants.
W - Rotting Shrubs | No cooldown | cost: 50% of current shield from Wild Cuts. Minimum of 50+10 per level hp worth of shield >Linao uses 50% of her current shield from Wild Cuts to summon a Rotting Shrub at the target location. This Rotting Shrub will absorb 5/10/15/20/25% of all damage dealt to champions within a 750 units radius and converts it into energy. After consuming at least 40% of its maximum capacity worth of energy, the Rotting Shrub will bloom, empowering Linoa's Q and E whenever they hit a Rotting Shrub. Rotting shrubs can store up to 200/300/400/500 + 100% ap energy. When the energy level is above 50% and no energy has been gained for more than 15 seconds, the energy level will drop by 10 per second until it reaches 50% or new energy is added.
E - Splinterwood | 20/18.5/17/15.5/14 second cooldown | cost: 80/90/100/110/120 mana >roots spin in a circle around the target location, dealing 95/145/200/250/300 + 70% ap physical damage to enemies once and creating a thorny wooden structure, obstructing movement for 2.5 seconds and deals 35/50/65/80/100 + 10% ap physical damage to enemies within 250 units every 0.5 seconds. If the roots touch a Rotting Shrub, the wood structure will explode after 1.5 seconds, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies equal to the amount of energy stored in the Rotting shrubs and applies Wild Cuts to them. If multiple Rotting Shrubs are picked up by the roots, it will deal damage for the Rotting Shrub with the largest amount of energy + 20% of the energy from additional Rotting Shrubs.
R - Curse of the Forest | 125/100/75 second cooldown | cost: 110/125/140 mana >Marks a target enemy champion for 5/6/7 seconds. If the target dies, the mark will spread to nearby enemy champions, marking them for 10 seconds and deals 50/75/100 + 25% ap magic damage to them. If Linao reaches 0 hp while any enemy champion is marked and is within range, instead of dying, she will start rapidly draining hp from all marked enemies. in this time, Linao can move, but not attack or cast spells. If a marked enemy goes out of range while Linao is draining, the tether will break and the mark on them will disappear, making Linao unable to drain more hp from them. While draining, Linao deals 50/75/100 + 25% ap true damage every 0.5 seconds and Linao heals for 100% of that amount. If there are no more marked enemies within range and Linao has 0 hp, she will die normally.
I don't have art cause I suck at drawing but for animations use your imagination on this stuff:
>Q: swings her vines forward, creating a circle shaped explosion and then the vines retract. If an enemy is hit, the vines will glow. if a blooming shrub is hit, a glowing orb will float towards Linoa in between the vines. W: not blooming: something like a zyra seed, but with a glowing orb in it that grows depending on the amount of energy stored in it. Blooming: the seed gathers nearby twigs and dead leaves and makes petals out of them that curve around the glowing orb. E: 2 brown roots rise up from the middle of the area, spin 1 circle while stretched outwards and then more brown roots rise from the ground, creating a thorny wooden structure. If a blooming shrub is hit, a glowing orb will be swung towards the middle and be stored in the middle of the wooden structure for the duration of it. when it explodes, it creates a green explosion with thorns being launched everywhere. some thorns stick into the ground for about 3 seconds before disappearing. R: While marking someone, Linoa will stand still for about half a second, and dark clouds will gather around the opponent's head. After that, these clouds turn into black spheres that circle the target for the duration of the mark. A picture will also float above them for the mark's duration(probably black eyes or something like that). When the mark spreads to enemies, it creates a circle shaped cloud that expands outwards. When Linoa reaches 0 hp, she will be surrounded by a dark cloud and transparent white roots will grasp all marked enemies and spirals of black energy will move around the roots towards Linoa.
Possible skins: -infernal: uses lava streams and volcanoes instead of roots, vines and seeds. uses flames instead of dark clouds.
-Program: uses cables instead of roots and vines, uses sockets instead of seeds and uses electricity instead of dark clouds.
-mystic: seeds, roots and vines are made of crystals. uses bubbles that shatter like glass when they reach enemies instead of dark clouds.
-elderwood: uses living roots, vines and seeds. dark clouds are replaced with rain clouds.
now and before rework. R into e. Seeds/ bushes on same button. The not dying part is also similar to old passive just on r instead. The only thing really changed was you add a shield/healing to the kit and from what I can tell a snare from zyra q to e instead. The wording makes it difficult to tell if it creates terrain or keeps you inside the structure.
