Champion Idea: Clink, The Welder

So we have 2 robots in league, and I think we need some more. This time we can fit the bill with an ADC. The design I was looking at was the Guardians from Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild. Like a walking turret.

Passive: A Well-Oiled Machine - Clink's attack speed is permanently reduced by 20% at all times. Every 3 basic attacks he doubles his attack speed for 5 seconds (10 second cd).

Q: Bonding Agent - Clink's next basic attack welds his target to the closest enemy or wall, snaring both of them for .5 seconds. = 10 second CD. Upgrades up the snare duration to 1.5 seconds. CD stays the same.

W: Metallurgy - Cover yourself in a damage absorbing shield for 40/60/80/100/120 damage (+50% your bonus health) for 4 seconds, after the time is up or the shield is destroyed take 5% more damage for 2 seconds.

E: Safety Issues - Passive - Every time Clink uses a spell or attacks he gains a stack of Arc Flash. After 10 stacks he blinds every enemy attacking him for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds automatically.

R: Arc - Channel a beam of energy that deals 10/20/30/40/50 (+100% your bonus AD) damage per second to a target. Reactivate to change targets. Lasts for 15 seconds

The idea was basically an ADC that's a little bit like Urgot but with an ultimate that deals damage. Which is what I feel like he lacks. So like, his abilities are like Bard's Q, Urgot E, Teemo Q, and Vel' Koz R with some tuning, but all of it worked with the aesthetic of a welder.

Passive: so he can build AS, but his actual speed is reduced by 20% until he gets three attacks off, at which point the penalty is removed and replaced with a 80% bonus. So basically you just want to build enough AS to make stacking your passive less frustrating and then you can basically hit the maximum attack speed limit as a matter of course a la old Kog'Maw.

Q: Does there have to be something for the target to stick to already touching them for this to work, or is there some sort of margin for error like Vayne or Poppy's knockback on their "stun on contact with surface" abilities?

W: Why the bonus damage debuff? And why for so long? Shielding yourself for that kind of damage wouldn't be worth it in the end if you're just going to take that much more damage once it's over anyway.

E: While it certainly is a novel concept, I imagine people will complain about this guy's ability to monopolize on auto-attacking.

ult: 15 seconds? That's forever in League terms. Few if any ults last longer than 5 or 7.
