Vastayan Champion
So I recently watched Jeremy "Gaming Curios'" video on champions rioteers want to make. I saw Riot Ezreal's idea on the shaman/totem champion and I want to expand on the idea. So, for lore, I think the champion should be Vastayan and have some connection to the lovebirds, Xayah & Rakan (ha) because shamans are usually viewed as part of tribal groups. (at least in my experience) For those of you who didn't see Riot Ezreal's idea, it was to have a champion who could place totems (or a totem) around the map. When they placed them, their abilities would be cast by the totems, and not by the champion. The abilities could be cast from any range. My idea for this champion: Passive: Every 3 minutes, (recharge goes down by 2 seconds every level) you can teleport to one of your totems. Teleport takes 3 seconds, and there should be some way that people can see that you are teleporting in. (for enemies) When you arrive, you have a debuff removes x% amount of your ap/ad, for x seconds, so that you can't just teleport straight into a team fight and start fighting. I'm going to start with ultimate because it's better to say that first than have the abilities before it Ultimate: (You have it at level one) Places a totem on the ground that lasts for 4 minutes (One totem every 3 minutes, max held is 2). You can have a max of 3, and leveling this skill up increases the amount you can have by 1 (max of 5 at level 16). Depending on whether you are near or far away from your totems, your skills will change Q (Far): Creates an aura around selected totem that deals x magic damage + (% scaling with ap) every x seconds, lasts x seconds (increases with level) Q (Near): Creates an aura around selected totem that empowers auto attacks to burn targets, dealing x damage + (% low scaling with ap) every x seconds, for x seconds. W (Far): Draws in enemies to the center of the totem (slow pull, not fast like Orianna ulti, pulls lessens as you get closer to the edge of the area, slightly larger range than the Far Q) Could deal damage, but this is mostly for your Far Q. Leveling up reduces CD W (Near): Slows enemies by x%, increases each level, lasts x seconds E (Far): Grants vision of the area around the ward, for x seconds (radius of farsight alteration) E (Near): Slightly reduces the amount vision enemies have for x seconds OR blacks out any wards in a large area?
Additional Notes:
- The amount of totems could be reduces to 2-4, or even 1-3. 5 might be overkill for late game. It may actually be best at 2-3, so the ulti would have two spaces for skill points. That would mean two abilities would be able to take 6 points, or one take 7, like Ryze or Jayce
- Each x would be replaced by a variable. I didn't fill them in because I don't have the tools to test the power of said variables, and I don't have much experience with balancing
- Each % is replaced by a scaling variable, low scaling means a low scale rate (so like 30%) and up from there to regular or high. x% would be like a 30% slow, or a 50% in context with Near W, not a scaling variable
- I'm not sure if this champion would be horrible early game and completely broken late game, so some changes would probably be made
