Why do all champions have same vision range? Potentional trait for a new champion. (Candy for devs)
TL;DR: Implementing increased vision range or maximum zoom out range on a new (potentionally passive support, i.e. "An Enchanter") champion!
Soo, I was thinking the other day, and an idea struck my mind. All the champions in game have the same vision range, albeit some having arguably worse vision (Lee, some yordles, etc..) while others should see further (due to their height or the fact that they fly... looking at you
). While re-doing the vision range for all the champions would had a huge impact on balancing the game.
But you know what wouldn't? A new champion! This could work in a way of a passive... sounding like this: "When (insert champion name) is out of combat for # seconds, its vision range increases by #%." or it could be more could be more and more depending on level, or not depending on level. You can start with smaller vision than usual or make an ultimate from this, where the champion has increased vision for # seconds.
You can also toy with the maximum range we can zoom out to. You can already zoom out more while casting
and
ultimates, so why not have it permanently on a champion? Either a 4th wall breaking, or a bird that can fly, e.g. an owl.
Plus, there wasn't a passive support here for a while (6 years to be more specific) we only had catchers
, tanks
, divers
and assasins
for some crazy reason (nobody wanted that!) but nothing with a kit made directly to protect your ADC in the backline in and out of fights (you don't count
!) so a new one after 6 years would be a pleasant surprise.
