Why doesn't the updated Xerath have scorch marks on his armor?

It just seems like a missed opportunity to not add in crackling armor on Xeraths body. Just thinking Riot should show more of his unyielding power.

I guess you mean Scorched Earth Xerath, because you didn't mention which skin...

Scorched Earth Xerath hasn't received any texture update as far as I know.

no i mean Xerath in general. He blew up the Sarcophagus that was holding him yet he has no scorch marks anywhere on the remains of his former prison. Like lighting etchings or pulsating energy on the sides.

I'd be more accepting of him cleaning his "armor" over it not being scorched.

If I understand correctly, Xerath didn't just "blew" up the sarcophagus, his body became the sarcophagus, but just shattered. Like a puzzle, he now restores the sarcophagus whenever he uses a emote as a reference.

There's explosion, implosion, mana burn and arcane explosion that explains it. However, while "exploding", Xerath's body, which was pure arcane energy, melted with the sarcophagus.
