In Zaun, Swain and Vlad are having some doubts over Viktor's claim that he would use Blitzcrank and Zac to repair the city of Noxus.

Swain : I don't want to sound ungrateful, or dismissive, but how are THOSE TWO He points at Blitz and Zac going to repair Noxus?

Vladimir : Yeah! One of 'em's an robot, and the other's some kind of Goo or slime thing. Wouldn't Zac's liquid umm... "flesh" if you can call it that... kind of, short-circuit or damage Blitz?

Viktor : Not to worry, I've got a special invention that I use to control the two.

Swain : So what is it?

Viktor looks around to make sure no one else is in the room, and then puts a finger to his mouth (Or, in his case, where his mouth WOULD be) in the typical "Shh" motion.

Vladimir : You've invented a "Shh"? He Mimics Viktor's hand motion Well, that's pretty ridiculous! Every hospital in the country's got one of those already!

He walks up and "Shh" hand-motions mockingly as he strafes around Blitzcrank and Zac. Blitz motions to Zac in a "You seeing this?" gesture, and Zac just nods his head knowingly.

Vladimir : Shh... HAH!

Still chuckling as he turns away from the two, he fails to see Zac whispering something to Blitz as he smiles mischievously.

Blitzcrank : HA-HA-HA-HA....

Zac rears back an arm as he prepares to use his Q. Seeing this, Viktor quickly throws down his W near the two, stunning the two just as Zac begins to extend his arm, freezing it in place.

Swain : Ooh! Is that the invention?

Viktor : NO.

Using his third arm, Viktor grabs Vlad and pulls him away from Blitz and Zac, and then bops Vlad lightly on the head.

Vladimir : OW! What was THAT for!?

Once again, using his third arm, Viktor grabs Vlad by the cheeks.

Viktor : Because your response was WRONG, you imbecile! It's in HERE! He gestures to a door that Vlad was standing in front of as he was laughing to himself.

By now, the stun on Blitz and Zac has worn off, and because he was in the middle of doing it, Zac can't stop himself now, and his arm shoots forward, running right onto the door Viktor had pointed to, knocking it open.

Viktor : Thank you for getting the door, Zac.

Zac : Wha- That's not what I... His arm returns to normal, and his shoulders slump as he realizes his mischievous plan had been stopped Ohh...

As Viktor starts to walk into the room beyond the door, Vlad is dragged along with his because Viktor's third arm is still holding him by the cheeks.

Vladimir : Hffgh loffng awwe youff gonpha holfp met bythe cheekpphf?! (How long are you gonna hold me by the cheeks?)

Vlad shakes and gets free, and after righting himself back up straight, he and Swain look at Viktor, who is now standing in front of a pedestal with a sheet over it.

Swain : Is the invention under that sheet?

Viktor : Yes! But it's also kept inside a container underneath this sheet! Can never be too careful around here. Anyways, BEHOLD!

Viktor removes the sheet, and underneath it is... a note?

Swain and Vlad look dryly at it.

Swain : That's your invention? A slip of paper?

Vladimir : That's worse that a "Shh".

Viktor : WHAT!?

Viktor quickly turns and looks for himself. Quickly he grabs the note and starts reading it aloud.

Viktor : "Dear Viktor, I 'borrowed' your new fancy invention thing because it looks pretty nice and fancy, and probably could help me with fixing my Z-Drive. Thanks, from Ekko"

Viktor angrily crumbles the note in his fist.

Viktor : That stupid little BRAT!

In Ekko's place, he's finishing up telling the story of how the Juggernaut Club damaged his Z-Drive.

Ekko : Finally, Nasus handed it back to me and said, "Thanks!" And it's been like this ever since!

Sion : Well, that was nice of them!

Ekko : What was nice?

Sion : They gave it back to you. It's condition not withstanding.

Ekko : You could not have missed the point I was trying to make with this story harder even if you tried.

The Z-Drive suddenly starts jolting and spinning erratically.

Ekko : Uh-oh, it's acting up again! Take cover!

Ekko quickly jumps behind the remains of his front door, but because Urgot and Sion are stuck in the doorway, they can't get free quick enough to find any cover as the Z-Drive grows more and more unruly. Finally, it flashes a bright light, blinding all present!

Urgot : Ack!?

Sion : Hey!

As the light fades, Ekko slowly pokes his head out from behind his cover.

Ekko : OK, I think it's safe. You two okay?

He turns and looks towards Sion and Urgot, and looks shocked.

Ekko : Whoa!

Urgot : What is it?

Sion : Yaah, Maan, vhat's ze mattur?

Realizing his voice sounds different, Sion looks in reflex at himself. He's reverted to his old, Pre-VGU state!

Sion : AAAAHHHHH!

Feeling different himself, Urgot looks, and sees that HE TOO has reverted to his Pre-VGU state!

Urgot : NOOOOOOOO!

I never played the old Sion, my brother did though. His opinion on the VGU was a resounding "Meh". He just played the old version because he knew how to work with him, same deal with the New one.

Did your brother play AP Sion or AD Sion?

If I remember correctly, it was AP Sion. He might have done AD here and there, but I'm fairly certain it was AP most of the time. He actually hasn't played for a long time, I believe he stopped somewhere around when Vel'Koz released, or something like that. Like I said, with his "Meh" response, I don't think he liked or disliked the changes to Sion. The reason he stopped was he believed he was getting too angry and toxic when he would play, so he figured the best way to stop it was to... well, stop.

But... he's just gotten so used to his "Newer" self that reverting back is a bit of a shocker. Same for Urgot, but he hasn't quite been in his "VGU'd" state as long as Sion, so the potential trauma isn't quite as heavy.

Wondering if the revert is due to Viktor or the mix?

Either way, that invention would be super useful. Noxus would never lose a war again; would be busted to get to restart battles if they lose them.

Also: Sorry Urgot :3 At least Sion was reverted too so you're still buds.

Actually, I was trying to make it out like the Z-Drive, in its damaged and unruly state (Also considering, to the best of my knowledge, we don't know the limits of Ekko's Z-Drive's capabilities) it "reversed" time for Urgot and Sion , far enough back to revert them back to their older selves. Don't know if that makes sense, but I try.

Either way, that invention would be super useful. Noxus would never lose a war again; would be busted to get to restart battles if they lose them.

With the upcoming rework, and the things that Riot has said about the new Swain, who knows if they'd need it. Though, Noxus has never turned down things that could help their efforts before...

Yeah that bit carried in the chapter dialogue^^ Was more asking if Viktor's part of the device (which improved the Z-drive) would allow the reversal of time for an area of objects (such as the demolished Noxus)?

Ahh! Now I see what you were getting at. While that wouldn't be a bad idea, it's not what I had in mind for how he was going to "repair" Noxus. (Things could change though, we'll see when we get there.)

p.s. What do you think of new Swain? Birb wings too wispy for me imo.

I personally am indifferent. I didn't play the old Swain, so I can't give an educated opinion on the upcoming changes, whether on his visuals or his kit or whatever else might be getting flak about the new one in comparison to the old.

I MIGHT (Operative word being MIGHT, it's not confirmed) work it into the story of TJC IF I can come up with a convincing way. But if not, then for the sake of consistency, for however much longer this series runs, consider the OLD Swain to still be the one appearing in this series.

I played Vlad way more than old Swain. I think that's the root of it sitting badly.

Just really like birds and was hoping for another one. Call me greedy idc. I'm attached to Anivia Azir Kayle Morgana Rakan and Xayah along with Quinn (pre-rework).

I think my 2nd champ ever was Fiddlesticks :3

I MIGHT (Operative word being MIGHT, it's not confirmed) work it into the story of TJC IF I can come up with a convincing way. But if not, then for the sake of consistency, for however much longer this series runs, consider the OLD Swain to still be the one appearing in this series.

Hey, to each their own. Mages as a whole just... don't appeal to me. That's probably why the only one I play is Syndra , simply because I've gotten her kit down pat. And it's only when I get asked to fill in Mid, because Mid is my WORST ROLE. (I.E. If you ever play with me, PLEASE don't ask me to play Mid. All you'll get is a disappointment.)

I kind of figured that with some of your comments about the more "Birdy" champs (Like Anivia and so on)

What I'd like to see personally is a new Juggernaut. Before I started writing this thing I would upload Champion Concepts. Many of them were various ideas of Fighter/Juggernaut-esque champs. The power fantasy (A term I've seen thrown around upon occasion by Rioters and others on these boards) I've always liked is playing as this big, colossal being that comes barreling down at you with steps that make the ground quake. Oftentimes with this hypothetical colossus wielding some huge weapon (Doesn't really matter what, as long as it's Big and powerful looking) that they use to just completely CRUSH those that dare get in their way. Ergo, that's why Juggernauts like Darius , Garen , Yorick , Nasus and basically ALL THE JUGGERNAUTS (If one couldn't already tell with this silly series anyways) are my favorites. A couple of the Tanks that can partially fit that "Power Fantasy" I also like as well. (Shen , Sion and Nautilus to name a few)

Stay with old Swain plz. OG Swain is so trolly and fun.

I most likely will, I was just bringing that up as a way of silencing any worries my readers might have had, JUST in case they thought I would replace the old with the new.

I dearly miss stoneborn Syndra item 3116 on ARAM. So much fun.

It's good a time as any, so here's Part 34!

Zoe is seen prancing around, outside of the TJC Studios.

Zoe : La-la-la-la... I'm going to improve this dumb series~, Hee-hee....

Ebony is seen running up to her.

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, YOU LITTLE BRAT!

Zoe : Hmm?

Zoe turns, and Ebony points an accusatory finger at her.

YOU!

Zoe : Yes...?

She flutters her eyelashes, trying to make herself look innocent.

You stole the Future Manuscript! Give it back!

Zoe : Stole? Manuscript? I don't have the FAINTEST idea what you're talking about.

When she says faintest, the other champions that were walking around fall over, presumably fainting because of her "order". She looks at Ebony expectantly, assuming he will follow suit. Ebony chuckles.

Nice try, squirt. The Manuscript isn't what's all-powerful. It's ME. MY imagination.

Zoe tries to stifle laughter, but it comes anyway, and she runs circles around Ebony as she laughs.

Zoe : Must be a pretty poor one because of your low reader-count! You get, what, 3 comments on those posts, and that's when you're lucky! HAHAHAHA!

Ebony just shakes his head. He grabs the girl by the shirt-collar, and then reaches his hand inside the pouch on Zoe's side and pulls out... an old, dilapidated copy of the Will of the Ancients book?

Where'd you get this!? This item's been defunct ever since Spell-Vamp was axed!

Zoe : I have ways...

His hands shaking with anger, Ebony clenches the hand holding the book into a fist, crushing the book and sending pages everywhere.

Zoe : Oh dear, what did that poor book ever do to you?

Where. Is. The. Manuscript.

Running out of quips, Zoe quickly shoots her Sleepy Bubble at Ebony.

Zoe : YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!

She shakes herself free, and runs off as the spell hits Ebony in the face. He calmly wipes his face off, showing, as he wasn't an actual character in League, it had no effect on him. Winding his arms, he slowly walks in the direction she ran.

Don't TEMPT me, girly.
