Why Ryze update before Yorick

Riot just updated about a year ago I know that is quite a while but has needed and update for a while and I just wish it would come before the Ryze update because Ryze doesn't need it a lot of people like him right now

Yorick should be reworked first. List how many times you have seen someone play Yorick for me It counts as once. because All for One = Once and I picked yorick.

Ryze has a super icky kit and they knew from the get-go that it would need another rework. Yorick is just kinda there, hardly a priority.

If his kit is icky they could have altered it in the mage update which would have been a perfect time

I'd say the main problem with Ryze at the moment is this - the item reworks in the mage update break him.

Riot is taking out mana regen to favor items that both give flat mana AND flat AP. This breaks current ryze, unless they change him to match the current mage update.
