Why is it when someone leaves on your team and they don't reconnect by the time you lose that you don't get a loss prevented? Anyone understand why that doesn't take effect? Oh yeah but when there is a minor hotfix for aurelion so's forehead being to big then you get loss prevented. Gimme some comments people
It compromises the competitive integrity of the game. It can be gamed by:
Having a premade go AFK to prevent L.P. loss for teammates. This is commonly rebutted by saying premade would not get the loss prevention but would instead lose L.P. This change would contribute to the case of point 2.
Bullying a person who is doing poorly into thinking they must AFK or be reported for inting.
Being an altruistic person who is doing poorly and chooses to AFK to prevent their team from losing L.P.
The effect of these is that you are no longer losing L.P. for a game you would have lost despite the AFKer. There is no way to tell if a game would be won if not for the AFKer, so the system wouldn't work.
