What if Riot Games creates a League of Legends based MMORPG?

For players, League of Legends has been a wonderful experience in the diversity and creativity of the game. Riot Games has also been generous as to award players for staying positive (kind of ironic I'm the one saying this since I get Leaver Buster). Still, I get it, many games I have had to face toxic players, leavers, afk, etc.......................... So, what if Riot Games creates a League of Legends based MMORPG? I feel that it would have League champions, but would be very complex. Programmers would have to create a game engine that makes the performance and quality of the game top-notch without destroying players' gaming platforms. I've seen many MMORPG games, but none of them give me much interest. Some of which crash frequently. You could create a backup server immediately deployed once the main server crashes. You might not understand what I am saying, but what do I know? I think that the game would be fun and great, after all, it's a "what if". PS: I'm not trying to replace League of Legends, just some ideas I want to share with the Riot Games community.

lol they would have to actually tell a story at a good pace for that to work.

So long as its well written and we see all the champions through the world. Then I dig it. Also the combat system has to be active, like TERA or Black Desert.

Also a neat subsystem would be to have it tie into LoL itself. Like You LoL account is linked and the more you play a champion, the more bonuses from that champion you get in the MMO. Like extra quests, gear, gold, and other things. Possible even costumes of some of their skins!

Would be also neat if some of the champions were hostile mini bosses of sorts. Like Ahri and Rengar. You come across them randomly and if your not careful they will KO you. Ah the possibility's.

No... an MMORPG inspired by League of Legends will have to take a different approach to story telling... Because who would be the character you're roleplaying as? What would the MMORPG be about? Making a game with a story that's based off a MOBA game is gonna be very difficult for the game devs.

My dream would be Riot teaming up with CD Projekt Red to make a Witcher-Style RPG set in the world of LoL. You'd play as a summoner or whoever and travel across Runeterra. The league characters would be scattered across the world as NPCs and you'd get to explore all the different factions/areas. Would be rad as fuck.

I would play a lot, but only if the gameplay stays the same, top-down view + mouse movement + Q/W/E/R spells(maybe customize your skills, change which skills to use..). I would like to know more about the lore, creatures, places, history.. would be a great experience.

Don't let CertainlyT make any of the mobs and it would be a pretty good game.

Garantiert ein Traum von Riot, aber wahrscheinlich zu Riskant. Man müsste eine Menge Geld in die Hand nehmen mit keiner Garantie, dass es ein Erfolg wird. Aus Erfahrung schaffen es nur wenige MMORPS zu echtem Erfolg.
