Champion Concept of a Stealth Healer Support (didn't think of a name or title)

I was going to ham-fist a name out but that wouldn't be cool. The title gives away plenty of info so I'll just go into what little lore this character has. Also I still have a bunch of ideas for potential passives so I'm probably going to list more than one. The champion wouldn't get more than one of the passives.

Lore idea: An urban legend talked about in Zaun; some believe it's a doctor, others believe it's an experiment, or a phantom, a monster, or simply a myth. Whatever the case, people have been saved, cured, or treated from the shadows of Zaun.

Visual ideas: Zombies, Mummies, Singed and his experiments, Skin grafts, medics

Passive Idea: Salve Scramble - Successfully using a damaging ability on an enemy champion (and/or auto attacking a certain number of times) drops a vial on the ground which can be picked up (or maybe instead caught like Draven's axes) for a modest heal. The vial stacks with level and ~30% of Ap, can be crushed by enemy champions, and cannot be used by the champion himself.

Passive Idea: Augmented Injector - Using abilities fills an injector that has been grafted onto the arm of this champion, hitting targets fills it more with the largest fill coming from hitting enemy champions. When Full, the option to right-click an ally become available. If performed, this champion will "auto-attack" an allied champion from melee range, healing them for this champions base attack, plus a percentage of their missing health, plus a percentage of the filled gauge (which increases with level). Meant to be a fast, powerful heal locked behind a meter.

Q idea: Deterrent Spray - Sprays a stream forward that damages, slows and reduces a small amount of armor.

W idea: Auto-Triage - Passive: Gains bonus healing based on the missing health of all allied champions in a small area surrounding this champion. Active: channels to heal a champion by a percentage of missing health. You can move during this channel, but moving away from the small radius will break the channel.

E idea: Zaun Fog - Sprays an area from a medium range, damages on hit. A fog remains, causing nearsightedness while inside, and a 0.3 second fear if remaining in it too long. The fog itself does not do damage while remaining.

R idea: Shadow Savior - The champion goes invisible (or camouflaged ) for 10/15/20 seconds. Enemies in an area are alerted when the champion is close enough. Activating the ability again within a small area of an allied champion applies a modest heal as well as a movement speed boost and brief camouflage. Higher ranks of this ability reduce the radius that enemy champions are alerted.

I'll probably come back with more ideas on the matter but this is enough to get the concept across.

Support and invisible don't go together very well in the same sentence. Didn't we learn from Pyke?

Alright, let's get it started.

Lore and Character Design

First of all: Thank you for creating a champion who represents healing in the way of modern medicine. It is something that I am missing in this game, since every champion that is able to heal others currently is doing it with magic. The medic trope using bandages, syringes, and so on is fairly common, it surprises me that Riot hasn't created one to this day.

And the big syringe attached to his arm as a weapon is genius, syringes are really interesting for a weapon.

I have to say, I don't really like to take the route of "no one knows who or even what it is", we have quite some champions like that and it limits story telling for these characters, imo. Personally, I would prefer to call out that it is a scientist in the depths of Zaun, who has dedicated his life to curing the many diseases, which are especially induced by the Zaun Grey.

Visually, I could imagine him kinda looking zombie like, this is fine. He could have been infected by the diseases himself, hence why he tried to find a cure for it. And while it has left its marks on his body, he found a way to stop it progressing and now wants to help others with the same problem. But he doing it from the shadows and hidden, since he fears that his appearance might scare his patients too much. Especially since Zaun is infected with many human-hunting curiosities (Warwick, Urgot, and Dr. Mundo come to mind), this could be quite a hindrance on his mission to help people.

Kit and Gameplay

I like that you want to combine stealth with being an enchanter instead of an assassin like Pyke. I experimented with something similar myself a while ago.

I think your idea for his passive is brillant. Since he has to fill the gauge with damage, it ensures that he has to interact with enemies to get his healing, which reduces the risk of him becoming another "stay back and spam heal" enchanter. And it goes so well with the syringe thematic that he can inject a huge heal once the gauge is completed.

However, I have one critique: In my opinion, your champion is focused too much on healing. You dedicated his passive and 2 skills (W and R) completely to healing. While having alot of heals fits his character, it also means that this champion is countered insanely hard by Grievous Wounds.

I would change some spells to give the champion more to do. Also, I think this champion should be a combo between enchanter and catcher, helping his teammates to create picks, CCing the enemy while supporting his ally's health pool with healing. I think the fear could last a bit longer than 0,3 seconds, especially since it has the condition that the enemy has to stay in the fog. Maybe 1 second of fear?

Also, I don't know how you imagined his cooldowns, but with his passive gauge, he could use a spell that helps him fill it. I would make this champion a melee champ by default, but give him a Q skillshot with charges. He could shoot needles at enemies and if they hit them, then he drains their blood, which fills his gauge over time.

Facit

Thematically, the champion is absolutely great. I would love to see something like this in the future. But I think the kit could use a bit of work, especially making him less focused on healing so he doesn't get shut down completely by item 3076 item 3123 item 3165
