A Gemini type champion

Main role support

Secondary Role mage

Attack: 45 Attack speed: 0.63 Armor: 30 Magic Resist: 35 Movement speed: 330 Range:125/150 when combined

Passive: Separated: If Mai and Lee both attack the same target their damage is increased my 50%. (this includes spells and basic attacks) Items that have a target ability (like item 3153 or item 3146 ) can also be cast from lee if he is closer, otherwise they will be cast from Mai. item 3157 and items like it will be cast on both. Recalling will teleport both at once and damaging one will stop both. Combined: Mai-Lee gains 50% bonus resistances.

1st ability: CD 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 --- Primary Damage 25/50/75/100/125 (+25% AP) --- Secondary Damage 30/60/90/120/150 (+40% AP) Separated: Mai and Lee shoot a bolt of energy at the target location dealing magic damage in a line. If Mai and Lee hit each other a secondary chain of lightning will bounce between them dealing additional magic damage and snaring enemies hit for 2 seconds.

Combined: Mai-Lee sends out a bolt that stops at the first enemy hit only dealing the primary damage but stunning them for 1 second.

2nd ability: CD 20/18/16/14/12 --- Slow 15%/25%/35%/45%/60% --- Shield 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% max health Separated: Mai and Lee fling the farther to the target location slowing champions hit for 1 second and granting a shield that decays over 2 seconds. Will not work if either is under the effects of hard CC.

Explanation: Say Mai and Lee are chasing Jinx down on bot lane, Jinx Zaps! Lee and he falls behind. Since Mai is closer she will be the focal point for the ability, granted Lee hasn't fallen out of range, and will slingshot lee in front of her to the target location and if he hits Jinx she will be slowed and both Mai and Lee will get a small shield. (Just so they don't instantly explode)

Combined: Mai-Lee Dashes forward a short distance and slows enemies hit.

3rd ability: CD 14/13/12/11/10 --- Heal 50/100/150/200/250 (+10% AP) --- Bonus MS 10/15/20/25/30 Separated: Mai and Lee each cast an AOE heal, multiple instances of the heal on a single champion heal for 15% more, they do not heal double the amount. the heal will also grant allies bonus movement speed when moving toward either Mai or Lee.

Combined: Mai-Lee casts an AOE heal that shields allies for a small amount. (15% max health)

Ultimate: starts with one point CD static 5 --- Rebirth time 120/100/80/60 Passive: Using this ability or alt+ right clicking will move Lee or make him Attack. Alt+ camera center key will go to Lee instead of Mai. Even though Mai is the main champion the player controls Lee does not have a maximum leash range and can roam around the map as you wish. Mai's health bar is the first half and Lee's is the second. When they are separated the half that is not their own will be blacked out indicating to everyone which is which at a glance. When Mai takes damage when Lee is alive she will only be brought down to 20% of her bar, after that Lee will start taking damage for her. She can still be burst down without a moment of invulnerability stopping the damage. Any additional damage done to Lee past what it takes to kill him wont be transmitted to Mai. If Lee dies (the killer will get 100 gold) the second half of Mai's health bar will slowly fill up, when it is full Lee will be reborn as a part of her ready to be separated, he will only have as much health as Mai does at the moment of his rebirth.

Active: Combined: Mai-Lee will split apart and the ability will go on cooldown.

Separated: By pressing alt+R Lee will start making his way back to Mai, if he reaches her they will merge back into Mai-Lee and the ability will go on cooldown. Using W will not stop this ability.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

  • Mai and Lee can provide support in two places at once but know that managing two champions in two parts of the map at once will decrease efficiency and likely take a lot of practice to master, making this champions skill ceiling the highest in the game.

  • They have a lot of play making potential but can easily be split up and taken out quickly.

  • Having Lee go out to plant wards is part of what makes him so strong, but he's also a tasty treat to the enemy jungler if he's spotted without Mai nearby.

  • They don't deal a ton of damage when they are apart so if you find them separated they are quite the easy kill.

Team fights: Mai-Lee's strength comes from their flanking prowess when separated, when you are fighting them try not to stand too close together or your whole team could be caught in their snare from the W+Q combo. If Lee tries for a flank stunning him will leave Mai with little else to do than play a healer.

You have definitely got a really unique idea going here, and I'm all for that, but I see a few issues with that. Being able to have 2 champions as 1 is very overpowered in some ways, but also useless in others. Imagine if both bot lane and top lane had a support for them, broken as hell. But on the other hand, unless you've got the brain of a genius, map awareness of an omniscient being, and mechanics of faker, you are going to have 0 chance of being able to play as both these people when they are separated. Maybe if your screen did some sort of weird thing where the other version of yourself shows up as a pop-up window when out of vision? Otherwise I cant see it working =\ sorry.

Also, feel free to let me know about what you think of my champion idea, it's posted right next to yours =)

Supporting two lanes isn't suppose to be optimal :P and spliting the screen would break the rules of having a limited view range that riot has tried so hard to keep. The strength would be having them fighting together or roaming separately for map control. But yes, I'm always up for reading new champion ideas.

I feel like if you were to make a champion like this, they would be pointless without being able to abuse the split champions, and it would be super hard to actually execute that, not only game knowledge wise, but the immense mechanics barrier it would create.

If you think of Lee as a Mordekaiser dragon combined with a Taric W its practically the same thing but its allowed to place wards. I'm also having a bit of trouble understanding your phrasing. abusing the split champion would be extremely easy if you caught one of them alone. But supports are supposed to assist the team even if it means taking a little bit of damage in the mean time. And since the champ is melee range it makes punishing them even easier.

What I meant by abuse it was the player who is playing the split champion. If they cant really have a big impact on the game due to being split up, then there is not much of a reason to have them. Champions like taric, viktor, and lulu already shoot abilities from multiple angles, tahm kench and kalista already manipulate the movement of teammates. Its just my opinion for this to be a viable idea, that the player needs to be able to be rewarded for splitting them apart, but also punished in some way. And that if they are together for a short while they can make some sort of great play, but overall they need to spend their time apart or their usefulness is wasted.

I've already highlighted all those things you just mentioned. The big play you are talking about is landing the 2 second snare on the enemy team by flanking or throwing themselves over with W. Or healing their team by splitting among the other Champs and poking with Q after getting rylais to slow down the enemy team. The payoff to splitting up in lane is to get vision and possibly an assist that you otherwise wouldn't have gotten. And with the new xp gain from killing wards you could even get extra xp. Or if you wanted you could keep them both in the bottom lane and harass the enemy, using your ultimate to combine them if the enemy tries to kill you and your adc, the combined W and Q serves as a disengage meant to help your adc get away. I purposely made the separated form focus more on play making and wide range support and the combined form for single target disengage.
