For the Lore Junkies: In ancient Shurima before the ascension ceremony that destroyed the country, before the betrayal of Azir, Xerath had a pupil. He was a boy from an outlying village that was loyal to the emperor and protected by him, this tan skinned boy often showed up when the slaves were just beginning Azir's sundial and Xerath noticed within him the spark of potential as a mage. And because he was also curious as to why the boys village was so guarded by the empire Xerath confronted the boy who looked up at Azirs enslaved friend with a inquisitive look as he was offered to be taught magic by the greatest mage in old Shurima. Balthazar refused to reveal any secrets about his home to a trusted servant of Azir but absorbed the knowledge of magic like he had been starving all his life. One day the boy arrived at Xeraths dwelling with something concealed under his shirt and would only show his master if he promised not to tell the emperor. Of course with plans to interrupt the ascension in his mind he was curious about anything Azir wouldn't want to know and agreed. The object was a cool, smooth stone etched with glyphs and the shuriman symbol for abundance and life entwined on the front as he reached out to touch the stone it exploded with light and retreated into Balthazar as if running from darkness, the symbol burning itself into his forehead. Balthazar didn't return home, knowing that his Elders presumably noticed the relic gone and instead stayed on the outskirts of the city and continued learning magic. After a series of tests it was learned the the relic had bestowed Balthazar with an overabundance of life energy and if any was used up for healing it would be immediately replenished. After learning this Xerath taught him the basics of life magic, a forbidden magic of the spoken word that consumed a persons life to produce miracles that dwarfed even the strongest magic Xerath could muster. On the day of the ascension ceremony Xerath ordered Balthazar to stay out of the city until he came to get him. The explosion the sundial caused flung Balthazar away from the city with a force that would have killed a normal human many times over, but the rune kept him alive, though it was not painless. After many days of sleeping in the desert due to the shock he awoke to find himself in the middle of a magic circle with his Elders surrounding him, chanting in language of life magic. As he became aware of what was happening he tried to start a spell of his own to find his mouth bound he tried to raise his arms to weave the arcane but found them stuck at his sides. The spell ended and the Elders each fell lifeless to the ground around Balthazar the straight jacket that held him captive was now a permanent binding. He forced himself upright with significant trouble and stomped his feet in the sand, the surface of which hardened into glass where exposed to his bare feet. An idea surfaced, one that would be many years of hard work to achieve.

Balthazar sat next to the large rock, after years of practice his legs were now strong enough that he could sit and stand without any effort. With his big toe he began drawing the runes of golemancy, his latest creations did not turn out well. Some failed to work at all and simply fell dead after a couple of hours. The last one however did not. He had been angry and frustrated after so many failed attempts that he used up almost all the life energy stored inside his body and passed out. He awoke to find a giant rock monster leaning over him. It had worked! He had finally created a working golem but when he tried to command it with his mind using the linkage of life he found that he had given it too much. It was now its own being, unable to kill the popstar loving creature that had unwittingly become his child he instead made it two mini golems to keep it company and linked them to its life essence.

This time he knew how to succeed. As he crafted each golem he carefully poured in half his life energy and inscribed runes of polymorph alongside those of golemancy. His little creations float around his head and follow his every command. And not long after this achievement he learned of a girl who had broken free of the master and bindings he had placed on her power. While in Ionia looking the floating tower, the League of Legends approached him with the knowledge of the one he sought. But only if he fought for them. "All things will end in time... I hope" - Balthazar

Passive:

Balthazars AA do 20% more damage for each Golem beyond the first ( magic damage, 30% AP). If Balthazar doesn't have a golem available his AA become melee range and do physical damage (he kicks them). Balthazar starts with one point in his ultimate.

Q- Life grenade: 80 mana

Balthazar Infuses his golem with life energy and lobs it at the target location where it explodes on impact. Dealing 80/110/140/170/200 (70% AP) If cast on a sentry it will cause the golem to chase the closest enemy (prioritizes in range champions) for 3 seconds or when it comes in contact before exploding dealing extra damage. 120/150/180/210/240 (80% AP)

W- Sentry: 60 mana

Balthazar Morphs a golem and places it on the ground where it patrols in an area killing minions at melee range. does extra damage. (30%/35%/40%/45%/50% AP) If cast on a sentry the golem doubles in size and has a larger range of movement as well as doing double damage. A sentry can only be enchanted once.

E- Chains of binding: 100 mana

Balthazar transforms a golem into a length of chain the shoots out in the target direction and snares the first enemy hit. (1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds) [does not deal damage due to how long it is in effect.] If cast on a sentry it explodes snaring all enemies in the area.

R- Golemancy: 40 mana per golem ( will show how many golems will be charged with remaining mana)

For each point Balthazar gets a golem. Golems are used to cast abilities and go on a cooldown before it can be used again (Blue when ready, red when recharging) his other abilities have a static 0.5 second cooldown and the cooldown on the golems decreases with rank. 10/8/6/4 Activating this ability causes all golems to be instantly recharged, cooldown and mana cost increase with the number of golems recharged this way. 45/30/15 seconds per golem charged.

I hope you like it!
