Aurelion Sol has indeed RETURNED and is our new champion.
What I'm speculating;
With the recent trial additions of various map/terrain movement abilities. See 
and even
's updated ultimate.
I can foresee an ability where A.S. takes to the heavens granting movement speed and ignoring all terrain/creeps/champions/towers for a brief period before crashing down in an AOE type effect.
"You call that an entrance? Hmph. Just wait..."
I also speculate that he will be more of a biped rather than a quadruped solely on the fact that all the images depict him holding something.
