League of Legends: Board Game

Hello everybody! ChauvinPlaysLoL here, League enthusiast, fellow bronze and a guy who has a hell of a lot of time on his hands. This will be a thread discussing an idea of mine.

A LEAGUE BOARD GAME

Yep, you heard it. A board game! Instead of discussing why, I'll just jump straight to the rules.

Rules

So, of course, your objective is to destroy the Nexus. The board would be 20x40 squares and the Nexus of each color on opposite sides.

Nexus

Health: 20 ♥️

The Nexus can only be damaged by auto-attacks.

Turns

The game starts with one of the players going first. They can move their champions, use an ability and auto-attack, all on one turn, but of only one champion. Then the second player chooses a champion to use, and so on. One turn ends when both players have utilized all their champions in some way.

Champions

Champions would double as collectibles and as your champions in battle. (Rake in that moola, Riot) To make it fair, five champions would come with your "starter pack", probably Ryze, Ashe, Garen, Soraka and Singed. (Mage, AD, Bruiser?, Support, Tank). Then, you could go and collect other champions, some more rare then others, depending on the impact of their abilities.

Each champion has 10 ♥️ and 10 🔵, and each ability will cost a set amount of 🔵 and deal a set amount of ❤️. If a champion is killed, it will be revived the next turn.

So there you have it. Those are the basics that you need to know. It'd be really cool to see this happen. Champion abilties and what they do in game will be revealed as separate posts.
