Fulgurax, The Fist of Storms [Champion concept]

So, this Concept is one that has been stewing for a while in my head. the basic premise is "Lightning-based Mage Bruiser". I hope you all enjoy

Theme: Fulgurax is Dressed in full armor. The Closest I can come up with is Captain Ferron. https://lor.mobalytics.gg/cards/01NX051 Fulgrax's Armor Is obviously different. He Doesn’t have the Shoulder plating’s, and his armor is made up of many Individual Armor Plating’s, connected together to allow him more free movement than Ferron. His armor has much less spikes than ferron. His Weapon of Choice is a Large Hammer-Axe Fusion. Not like Stormbreaker, but more like a traditional hammer, an axe Edge Jutting out of the center. It’s Usually charged with Lightning. It’s also mirrored, meaning one Blade on top, and one on the bottom.

How He plays: Fulgurax Is like a gathering storm. He strikes you from afar, poking you and building up his power, before he strikes as swift as the wind, Crushing opponents in a matter of seconds.

Abilities:

Passive: Thunder's Fist Hitting enemy champions or Large monsters with abilities generates 20 Lightning. Hitting basic attacks on Large monsters or champions generates 10 Lightning. When over 40 Lightning Fulgurax gains 15% lifesteal and spell vamp. When over 80 Lightning Fulgurax gains 30% movement speed. When at 100 Lightning Fulgurax coverts 10% of the damage he deals to Pure Damage. When Fulgurax has been out of combat for at least 4 seconds, Lightning decays at 5 lightning per second.

Q: Gathering Storm
Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds Fulgurax Gathers Up Electrical power over 2 seconds. During this time, he deals 75/100/125/150/175(+30%AP) magic damage to nearby champions per second and heals himself for 50% of damage dealt. After fully Channeling his power, Fulgurax Slams down his Axe in the direction of the Cursor, dealing 200/225/250/275/300 (+60% AD) Physical Damage to any targets hit. Fulgurax gains 20% attack speed for 4 seconds for each Champion hit with the Second Strike of Gathering storm. If the second strike does not hit any targets, Fulgurax is stunned for 3 seconds.

W: Storm's Edict
Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 Fulgurax calls down a lightning bolt at the target location after 0.5 seconds. The lightning bolt deals 100/175/250/325/400(+80%AP) to the Primary target before chaining to Nearby units. If storms Edict chains to at least 3 units all Affected units are stunned for 2.5 seconds.

E: Unchained Fury
Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 After channeling for 0.5 seconds, Fulgurax Begins Rapidly Consuming Lightning to empower himself. He consumes 15 Lightning per second while this ability is active. This ability lasts until Fulgurax has consumed all available Lightning. During this ability Fulgurax has 35% increased Movement speed, 10% increased AD and AP, and 20% increased attack speed. The effects are doubled if Unchained Fury was cast at maximum Lightning. Any Effects from Thunder's Fist that Fulgurax Had when unchained fury was cast persist until the ability finishes. If Fulgurax is affected by Crowd Control during Unchained fury, Lightning will drain twice as quickly for the duration of effect.

R: Wrath of the Heavens Cooldown: 140/120/100 Fulgurax Calls down a Bolt of lightning onto himself, Empowering him for 6 seconds. Upon Casting, Fulgurax gains 40 Lightning. While empowered, his first Auto attack gains 800/1000/1200 range and Causes him to blink to the target, dealing 400/450/500(+100%AD, +100%AP) Mixed damage. While Wrath of the Heavens is active, Fulgurax's abilities are changed:

• Gathering Storms Charge Time Is removed, He instead Immediately swings, and Drains Afterward

• Storm's Edict's Cooldown is halved

• unchained Fury Activates upon Basic attacking, and Drains 50% slower

Strengths and Weaknesses:

• Good Poke

• Great All-in

• Fantastic in Teamfights

• can punch through Invincibility

• High damage

Weaknesses:

• Painfully slow without E

• Long Ultimate Cooldown

• Very Weak to CC

• Self CC with Q if missed

• Predictable engage

Synergies Hard CC champs such as Work Very well with Fulgurax, due to removing his main problem, which is His Predictable engage. With other Hard CC, Fulgurax can easily Follow up with W.

AOE champs such as Fill the gap that he leaves as most of his damage is Single Target. Without his ultimate he is unable to use his W enough to provide any sort of AOE.

Counters , Her Insane Mobility makes sure that you are never going to hit an E, let alone a Q. , Same Problem with Akali, but not as bad. You won't be able to All in him because he will always W away. The all in that Fulgurax wants to force is exactly what darius wants. The only Solution is to keep poking until eventually he has to back or die. He can endure your Poke, and your all in by itself is not enough to kill him. you don't have enough hard CC to lock her down during her ult. His E Can be used to dodge your Q, which may lead to self-stunning. Mobility and Burst. On the Plus side, your ult is near-useless to him. He's way too tanky for your poke or all-in. WAY too much mobility

Who Fulgurax Counters You can Easily All in him when his Q is down, and he can't heal too much. In a poke contest, you will easily win, and then you can zone him off the wave to prevent healing. His poke is minimal Compared to yours, and as long as he isn't Enraged you can all in him easily at six. Poke him into oblivion just keep poking and he can't do anything, late game he'll be a problem, but hopefully you can deal with that. Watch out for his ult if you try and all in him. You can Punch through his E if you have your passive up, and his CC is too short to Really affect your E. Poke him when he tries to Q you. Can't do much to you once you're in close range, avoid his E and he dies Quickly.

Lore: Of Those Who climb the mountain, some do it for glory, some do it for shame, and some do it to prove themselves to others. The Man that would become Fulgurax Was born in a small Freljordian Village. He was not the strongest of his tribes warriors. Nor the fastest. But Whenever he dueled another warrior, he simply refused to fail. He would take hits that would have felled any other mortal warrior. Eventually, any foe he faced would fall, defeated by a combination of Exhaustion, and Inability to win. All of Fulgurax's Foes Despised him, and his Strategy of Endurance Turned the Village elders against him. They Insisted that he Was opposing the mighty tusklord by restraining his attacks. Fulgurax ignored them but could not ignore the Spite and hatred of the other warriors, and then one day, the greatest of them, the Mightiest warrior for many miles, gave him his final Challenge out of spite. Climb Mount targon and Prove himself to Ilhaurg. Fulgurax Seized this Challenge, not seeing it was one that was intended to kill him. He Journeyed Far to reach the mountain. While Passing through Shurima, he saw apathetic gods who watched their Subjects die and Fury Burned in his heart. He Could not do much in the face of the disaster he saw. All he could do was save a single man. That man Introduced himself as Aatrox. For the first time in his life, Fulgurax had someone who he could consider a friend. He and Aatrox traveled to the edge of the Desert, before they had to part ways. Fulgurax would never forget the kindness that Aatrox showed. Fulgurax Climbed the mountain that the Mighty warrior had Challenged him to. Even the mighty cold of the peak could not deter him from his goal. When he was near the top, he met a strange creature, who offered to heal him. Out of Pride, Fulgurax Refused, but the kindness in the creatures eyes moved him. After all of his Trials, Fulgurax Reached the Summit. A divine light shone from above as an Aspect of Targon chose him. The Sky opened up and Fulgurax saw many things. But, while most would have seen glory, power, and wisdom, Fulgurax saw something different. He saw more arrogant gods who cared nothing for those beneath them. In this moment, his Soul blazed with rage. He leapt at this false god and struck. The mighty aspect of targon shattered like glass. As the Aspects of Targon Watched in Horror, Fulgurax drank in the power of the fallen god, Reshaping the power to his will. As the Aspects recovered from their shock, the Response was swift and merciless, the Man Was Turned to ash by a Blast of Divine light, killing him instantly. But that was not the end of Fulgurax's tale. The power that he had stolen allowed him to deny death, existing solely as a spirit. But sometimes, when a God's crimes became too great, storms would gather, and he would push the balance of fate towards the innocents hurt by this god. But, alas, these interventions drained his power and strained his shattered mind. But they did do one thing. A small group of people began to worship the "Spirit of storms", a savior that would appear in the darkest hour for those in need. The gods of Targon looked upon this and Fury clouded their eyes, they sent their worshipers to destroy the temples made in this False gods Image. All were destroyed except one. This Temple was maintained by a small family. And one day, the worshipers found this one. They burned it to the ground And Slaughtered the entire family. Except for one boy. The boy watched as his parents died, and their life’s work went up in flames. He fled into the wilderness, begging for the wilds to let him join his parents. Instead, the Spirit of Fulgurax Saw a chance. In a glorious Bolt of Lightning, he fused with the Boy. Their minds became one, their power became one. This being knew its Goal From the moment it awoke. Kill the False gods.

Quotes Note that while Nicholas And Fulgurax have fused minds, there is sometimes a "Dominant" Mentality. This is used to differentiate between the Ancient Spirit, and the boy. The spirit in-game would have a slight echo to his voice, and would in general sound more powerful.
