Primary Role: Fighter Region: Bandle City She can be melee or ranged.

Friends: Tristana, Poppy, Teemo, Rumble Qadira doesn’t have rivals.

Lore

Qadira’s family is well known as the locksmith family in Bandle City. Many of her family members are great locksmiths. However, there’s a strange tradition in the family. All children are also trained to handle various weapons. Qadira always wondered why she needed to learn how to handle weapons in order to become a locksmith, but she liked to exercise, so she gladly accepted the training. As she exercised diligently, she became a fine fighter. One day, the elders of the family called her. In the secret room, those elders told her a family secret. The family owns the magic weapon, the Key, as the heirloom. They showed her the Key. The Key looks like a giant key with a lot of jewels. The elders told her that the Key must be owned by the family member who can handle it, and that’s the reason why they trained their children to handle various weapons. And elders told her that they want her to be the holder of the Key. She was very surprised. She initially refused the offer but she accepted the offer after she learned that she was the only one who can be the holder and elders wholeheartedly wanted her to become the holder. The elders also told her a warning. The Key is priceless. So there are a lot of Yordles who want to steal it. They told her that as the holder, she must protect the Key from those worthless thieves. As the elders had told her, she had to fight against many thieves. Those thieves got stronger and trickier, but Qadira got even more stronger and better at wielding the Key as she fought with those worthless thieves. Now, no one wants to steal the Key. Everyone knows that the Key belongs to Qadira, and anyone questioning that will get beaten by Qadira and be unable to stand.

Basic Stats

(This is just an approximation. I don't have any accurate calculations for those numerical values)

Health: 560 (+90 per level) Health Regen: 8 (+0.6 per level) Attack Damage: 60 (+2.6 per level) Armor: 35 (+3.6 per level) Attack Speed: 0.625 (+2.3% per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed: 330

Skills

P: the Key

Qadira’s weapon, the Key, gets charged as Qadira loses her health. When the health rate of Qadira is lower than 50%, Qadira can use the Key as the ranged weapon.

And when the health rate of Qadira is lower than 25%, Qadira can hide inside of an allied minion (when the minion dies, she pops up, and this passive has a long cool down)

Q: Key Smash

Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 Mana Range: 430

Qadira smashes the enemy with the Key. If the enemy dies, all near enemies get damaged. This ability can be used on the allied minion with less than 10% of health. Qadira gets exp points by killing an allied minion; 50% of exp points you get by killing an enemy minion.

Each smash deals 50/150/200 physical damage, and if the enemy or allied minion with low health dies by Key Smash, all enemies near by gets 25/75/100 physical damage.

W: Secured Area

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 Mana Range: 900

Qadira locks the zone with the Key. In the zone, the enemy cannot attack or use any skill, spell or item. And in the zone, any invisible enemy becomes visible.

E: Open the Gate

Cost: 90/100/110/120/130 Mana Range: 350

Qadira uses the Key to open two gates in the air; when she opens two gates, those gates form a portal. Once you or an allied champion use the portal, the gate gets destroyed. The gate can be destroyed by enemies (if the enemy destroys a gate, the other gate gets destroyed as well), Qadira can open two gates on the map, and the distance between two gates must not be over 1750/3000.

R: Lock Your Heart

Cost: 100 Mana Range: 650

Qadira fires a magic bar from the Key. Qadira can damage and lock the ultimate skill from the enemy hit by the magic bar. Enemy cannot use the locked ultimate skill. In order to unlock the skill, the enemy must return to the base.

Each magic bar deals 80/90/100/110/120 physical damage.

How to Play

Qadira is a fighter, and her skills allow her to get help from team easily. So instead of fighting alone, she's great for cooperating with other teammates.

The most unique thing about Qadira is that she can kill allied minions. By killing allied minions, she can prevent the enemy taking cs. And since killing allied minions also gives you some experience (not much as killing enemy minions), you can level up faster.

Her passive allows her to become a ranged champion, so you can intentionally get damages to become a ranged champion (but this is not recommended if you are not skillful). Her passive can be useful to dodge the enemies attacks. And her passive also allows her to increase the fighting time, so the jungler can come and help you. However, if she hides inside of minion, she becomes unable to move freely. This means, if the jungler doesn't come, her passive can be pointless.

You probably want to hide portals (E) in bushes. You can use them to escape or let jungler ganks faster.

Using her W, you can help the team in the group fight; especially when she's in ranged mode. But since her W doesn't slow or stun the enemies, your team must attack enemies fast before they escape. You can use her W to save you or allies.

Her ultimate isn't really helpful in group fight unless you use it on a fed enemy champion. But her ultimate is great for 1v1 fights.

Basically, Qadira is a fighter who helps junglers (but she's not good for jungling). So I suggest to use her as a top laner. Or she can be used as a supporter since she can prevent enemy's adc to take cs and disable them. Just remember, she's weak against enemy's ganking or outnumbered fights.

Fun Facts about Qadira

  • Qadira's dress is based on the Turkish traditional dress.
  • Her name starts with Q, because there is only one champion with the name starting with Q.
  • I created her, because there are only few female Yordle champions (I always like to create a rare character).
  • Qadira always admires Poppy and Tristana.

Ok! I got here from your other post, so I'll do the same here that I did there. :D

The Key

This is a really nice design space honestly. Getting range as your health goes down means you can take risky trades early, and still come out on top even if you only go even with your opponent. The range increase lets you harass them out of lane fairly easily, leading to a very aggressive earlygame playstyle to secure the lategame.

The hiding in minions thing is cute, and it reminds me of a character from Dawngate. It's basically an extra Zhonya's Hourglass, except your opponent won't know where you've gone if they didn't see you do it.

Verdict: Great passive all around.

Key Smash

I like the explosion effect on enemy kill! However, I don't like the killing your own minions to deny enemy CS bit. It removes too much of the opponent's agency. I don't really have any good alternatives for it either.

I think you may want to consider locking the opponent out (heh) in a different way. Maybe refreshing the cooldown and refunding partial cost of Key Smash on enemy kill as well? Which will allow you to shove them in and prevent them from CSing that way.

Verdict: Needs some balancing work, but otherwise a good spell with a strong identity.

Secured Area

Very good utility spell. Very strong too. It's a healthy spell though, so overall I really like it! It's like a Soraka silence, but it has a disarm instead. However, there's no hard CC applied to the champions within, so they can just walk out of it. I like that! It's handy in a pinch and good to turn a fight in your favour.

Verdict: Range is good! The radius of the effect itself will need to be very small to be balanced.

Open the Gate

This one feels a bit strong to be a non-Ultimate. Twisted Fate once had an ability like this too, except it was global and only he could use it.

Since this champion already reminds me of Dawngate, I'm going to take a leaf from their playbook. I feel like Open the Gate should fire like Kog'Maw's Void Ooze ability, hitting in a line and dealing magic damage. However, when the ability is cast through a wall, the wall is opened for any Champion to walk through (but enemies still take damage to do so). Sort of like Bard's Magical Journey I guess.

Verdict: Very strong. Needs some changes or depowering.

Lock Your Heart

I like this spell! It seems to be Qadina's key (heh) ability. It's a very strong spell, but I think it only needs a little tuning to work!

Instead of requiring the enemy to return to base to unlock their Ult, it should probably be locked for 4/8/12 seconds based on spell rank, OR you can make it so that Qadina's ult has no cooldown and can lock anybody for any length of time while they remain in her range, but she can only use it on ONE Champion at a time. I think that would be a healthier design, sort of like playing against Illaoi but in a utility sense.

Verdict: Strong spell with a good identity. Needs some tuning, but very well designed.
