Updating Old Legendary Skins? Is There any Possibility Whatsoever?

I have several of the older Legendary skins, yet choose other cheaper skins to play with on the characters I own, for the new skins are made at a much higher standard. I often play Gentleman Cho'Gath and he's a lot of fun to play with the audio effects and all, but some of the newer skins (like the upcoming cho skin being released soon) have much more to offer than just changed audio and sayings. I'm sure this question has been raised a few times, but I'm just looking to find out whether riot has ever issued a statement regarding updating old legendary skins or if there is any information yet to be found on the topic.
