Aurelion Sol mains want to cry

Have been waiting for years for a new skin for my main.

This gets released. A poorly made, space chicken. this skin sucks in almost every way. I am so dissapointed. What made Illaoi's rework different? They gave three designs and asked the community what one is best. then they made an awesome skin. she is only 2 champ releases ahead of Asol...

Then they give us this....... im so sad.

Now i gotta wait 2 more years with my fingers crossed until they even think about making another skin. :(

Not gonna buy this, even though I told myself: "whenever they FINALLY release an Asol skin, buying it no matter what."

That's just your opinion. The skin will not cater to everyone. I honestly find it beautiful as fuck, he turns into a fucking space ship when he E's :O

I think its pretty cool and I do play a lot of Sol on my main account.

The fact he transforms into a spaceship that has a deathstar beam for an ult and little fights flying around him makes me feel like im playin EVE lol!

This skin looks fuckin awesome. I dont play ASol but i might learn him a bit just to use this skin.

His stars are freakin little space ships.

I think the color of the skin and effects are very rich as well.

I will admit that Riot chose quite the challenge for itself by attempting to make such a fluidly animated champion look mechanical. It would be like trying to make a robotic skin out of Zac. It's almost like it needs a bunch of extra inflexible geometry surrounding the squishy parts to pull it off, which would kind of be like making another exoskeleton animate around his skeleton. That sounds rather intensive for a non-Ultimate skin.

However, if they're still open to suggestions for this skin, I would suggest a small tweak and make the tail look less solid and more like a fiery plume of rocket exhaust by just making the geometry invisible and doing the whole thing with particles.

I actually agree with Zaflar. This would be an amazing skin if it was released years ago - now the standard is too high to justify the weak animation of this skin. The lack of detail too is unforgivable on a champion who is so aesthetically beautiful.

I get it, guys, he can transform into a spaceship, his stars are spaceships, it's the little boys dream.

There are so many greater ideas for this champion's look to flourish.

I feel like this isn't so bad (even though we'll have to buy a chroma to have it not look like Lego) and that they could have gone with another theme and have better result (World Breaker, Ao Shin look-a-like...).

I don't like the mech skins in general but it looks fine. A bit goofy from the front but thats honestly just ASol... If it has a chroma I like I may get it.
