Why do you create?
Honest serious question. It's not that Riot ignores this board, but they can't directly use anything anyone makes here.
But I think most of us know that already, so why do you create content here?

What do you mean? Why do people make pics and post them or videos or...? Just want to understand the question better.
Its to allow the community to involve themselves with a fanmade creation about something they all connect on, even if its not going anywhere, alot of crazy inventive abilities and characters come from the boards, and though they cannot be taken directly, if Riot likes the idea they wont just abandon it. there is always hope. If they really want to use an idea you made, they would probably contact you about the item in question.
Uh...Riot absolutely can use anything from these boards. You agree to that in the terms of service. While they will most likely never create a 1 to 1 version of a player created concept, they do take potential ideas. Braum came from a fan made joke comic about a manly man who has a passive that every time he walked near Volibear they had to 'rastle.
They're also taken heaps of skin ideas.
I make stuff as creative exercises. I'm an animations student so it's really good for developing characters and designs.
For me it's just a way to help keep me occupied.
