Just something I whipped up on a lark. The idea should be fairly obvious upon seeing the picture.

Appearance: http://www.igorstshirts.com/blog/conceptships/2013/ikarus/ikarus_05.jpg

Stats: To be filled later.

Abilities:

Passive: Weapon of Progress - Steadily gain more Health and Armor as the game goes on. Gains double after 20 minutes. Health per Minute: 5 Armor per Minute: 1.25

Q: Charged Hexshell - When cast outside of the turret's arc, moves the turret to face the target direction. Turret keeps its relative position to the tank. (A turret turned 90 degrees to the right of your front will stay 90 degrees turned right when you turn around.)

When cast inside the turret arc, fires an extremely fast and explosive shell. Both variants can be cast while moving.

Firing Arc: 30 degrees Magic Damage: 80/125/170/215/260 (+0.7 AP) Range: 800 Explosion Radius: 150 Projectile Speed: 1500 Mana Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 when firing Cooldown: 1 second when turning, 10/9/8/7/6 seconds when firing

W: Ambush Field - Stores up to 3 charges. When used, plants a post with 3 health at a target location. Posts close to each other emit a laser that damages enemies. If three posts connect, a damage field is generated that roots enemies inside in addition to damaging them.

Magic Damage per Second: 30/40/50/60/70 (+0.2 AP) Root: 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds Range: 500 Leash Range: 400 Duration: 60 seconds when inactive, 4 seconds when active. Mana Cost: 30 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds

E: Storm Pulse Array - Discharges small tesla coils in a huge cone, dealing damage and slowing every second for 4 seconds. Damage increases by 100% of its starting value every second.

Initial Magic Damage: 10/15/20/25/30 (+0.1 AP) Total Damage: 100/150/200/250/300 (+1.0 AP) Slow: 20%, decaying over 1 second Cone Width: 120 degrees Range: 600 Mana Cost: 80 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

R: Armistice Capacitor - Creates a giant shield around Peerless that absorbs damage for any champion inside the shield. (Does not stop any crowd-control effects - it's a giant shared shield.)

Shield Health: 500/750/1000 (+1.0 AP) Shield Duration: 4 seconds Radius: 400 Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown: 90/80/70 seconds

Tl; dr Lore: A Piltover inventor, nervous at the growing conflict around Runeterra, sought to create the strongest weapon in the name of peace. Thus, Peerless - a weapon system with its prime directive being to ensure Piltover's safety.

The original plan was to keep Peerless in reserve, but combat data caused Peerless to reassess its weaponry and find it lacking against the dangers of Runeterra. To counter this, it left alone to find a way to strengthen itself, such that it can remain the only weapon ever required.

Tl; dr: Peerless is a bulky mage that focuses on setting up and then maintaining a siege situation. Ambush Field and Storm Pulse Array prevent enemies from getting in close, while Charged Hexshell enables a constant stream of damage while staying mobile. Armistice Capacitor can both preserve a siege and break one by shielding Peerless's team, while also yielding useful team utility should Peerless fall behind.

Comments are welcome.

Yes, this was in response to that one thread saying the next champion needs to be a tank.

Ok now It's time to break down the kit and theme of your concept...

#Theme

It's a nice little Idea to bring in a piltover creation once again into the game... but it breaks the format of Humanoid or Alien that League has. Seeing a tank in the game feels very out of place since the model would be shrunk down to human size so It'd feel like a little drone tank. Tbh thats cute and funny when I think about it XD

But overall... It just doesn't fit

#Kit

##Passive Really interesting thing, like a built in RoA. I did a bit of quick math for the 35 minute mark: 500+ Health 75+ Armor... These numbers are a bit scary for when you look at how he will most likely be built like a midlane control mage. You are essentially putting in a free tank item into his kit. By the time its 35min, you might have a RoA and A Rylais + 500 health. That is a massive health pool. My suggestion to fix this is to either change damage ratios of his abilities and make him more focused as a tanky control support or have some sort of passive that plays on the fantasy of sieging. So maybe a passive that increases damage the longer you are in position or increased armor and MR as you stay in one spot... The idea of giving free permanent stats is just scary IMO.

##Q I'm a bit confused on this ability. What is this turret? What is this turning thing that allows for a 1 second CD? These arc things, how are they determined? This ability really needs to be flushed out and understandable. Is the ability able to harm Towers?

##W This one makes sense and seems nicely created. Like GP barrels that activate when someone gets close. Ratios seem really nice and root is great too since it overall doesn't do much damage.

##E I like the Idea but it deals too much damage for an AOE and is ultimate quality. It seriously almost does more than Viktor's Ult and it applies a slow >.> Lower the base damage and change the 100% to something lower... 50% seems like a good quality number, Or have it deal more on first shock and damage decrease as slow increases???

##R Personally. I have wanted a bubble shield in this game for ages. And this right here nails it!

#Breakdown

Ok, so overall it's a really nice Idea but it really needs some brushing over and a new passive. The main issue for it is the theme. I think it really could be a great Yordle concept for a yordle that is a scientist that focuses on defense and has always hated ziggs lol. So yea. Love the detail and it feels less siege like and more defense focused haha. Someone you don't want to turret dive.

The main issue I have with this is it doesn't feel like it fits in with the gameplay of League. It feels very Star Crafty and like something seen in a war. It honestly feels on the level of Baron. Some big structure creature of defense. Very nice Idea but it doesn't seem to fit the game and play style.

Not too shabby really.
