I believe that league of legends should fix up leaverbust in a few ways...

League of Legends is an interactive and fun game but sometimes players have to leave due to irl situations. Leaverbust is a great system that doesn't take any risks even if the player has a power cut etc. (so players cannot abuse these kinds of methods and league can't tell between disconnecting internet or powercut...) Although the system is great, I would like to fix a few things about the leaverbust system...

  1. The Leaverbust timer should disappear after the timer is gone, in case a player has to go or they do not have the time to follow up with a game, leaverbust should just record it so that next time the player hits the play button they won't be forced into waiting through a timer they have waited through in the first place. Of course we need to keep the remaining leaverbusts but the player would not have to wait through a timer they have already waited through...

  2. While the leaverbust timer is counting down a player should be able to message their friends, not all players use discord or skype with every new player they make friends with. By letting players message without the timer in the way, players can chat about tactics, plans, champions, or anything in general while waiting for the timer.

I do agree about the 2nd..... being able to chat without closing the timer....

But the timer is there as a punishment. Ive had to sit through it even though my internet cut out and all that jazz. Pretty much if the timer is gone after you hit play, then you could hit play, make a sandwhich, and come back and just play without dealing with the leaverbuster at all even if you did not come back in time to hit play.

It is meant to feel like a heavy burden to discourage leaving. Making sure you come back on time is part of it.

1.This would kinda kill the idea behind leaverbuster. Its a punishment, people have to wait before their game and maybe thunk about not leaving again. If they could just start it afk and then come back later it would be a lot less punishing. 2. Again, it should feel back and annoying, its a punishment not a minor inconvenience.
