Passive - Crystal Venom: Skarner applies a stack of Crystal Venom to his enemies when he deals Physical Damage from his basic attacks and abilities. Each stack of Crystal Venom deals Magic Damage based on Ability Power over 2 seconds and grounds the enemy for that duration. Max 3 stacks and new stacks refresh the duration.

[One of the things that always got me with the most recent Skarner rework (i.e. Juggernaut Update) was that there was very little outside of W and R that tied Skarner to being the visual equivalent of a giant scorpion; one of the few things I missed from after his 'basic attack spam = CDR for days' iteration]

Q - Crystal Slash: Skarner deals Physical Damage based on Bonus AD to all enemies in a 350 unit circle centered on Skarner, pulls them towards him, and roots them for 0.25 seconds. Skarner's auto attack timer is reset and his next basic attack against an enemy that is rooted by Crystal Slash deals bonus Physical Damage based on total AD.

[This is visually represented by Skarner pincering the enemy group with his pincers and then stinging a single target with the basic attack]

W - Crystalline Exoskeleton: Skarner gains a shield based on Max Health and increased Movement Speed (same as before except for no AP scaling)

[I honestly like this ability as it is except for the random AP scaling on an otherwise tanky AD character (unless AP Skarner is actually a thing)]

E - Fracture: Skarner's auto-attack timer is NOT reset and his next basic attack consumes all stacks of Crystal Venom on an enemy (after applying any stacks itself), dealing Magic Damage based on Ability Power per stack consumed. If the max of three stacks are consumed this way, Skarner stuns the target for 0.75 seconds. [Note: This may be buffered during Q - Crystal Slash]

[While I like the chasing potential of the current Fracture, it doesn't feel like it is Fracturing anything; more like infusing a crystal into a victim then reinforcing those crystals already in the victim]

R - Impale: Skarner suppresses a single champion for 3 seconds, dealing Physical Damage based on bonus AD and applying an additional the max of three stacks of Crystal Venom by the end of the duration. While the enemy is suppressed, Skarner may displace them by moving. [Note: Skarner can only activate W - Crystalline Exoskeleton and non-damaging actives on Items]

[Skarner's iconic ultimate is pretty much the same here except for the lack of AP scaling (somewhat mitigated by the new Crystal Venom passive) and possibly duration (which if lower, that is perfectly fine since this iteration of Skarner has the potential to lock an opponent down for a long, long time)]

Recommend Items: Trinity Force, Sterak's Gage, Mercury Treads

Champion Class: Juggernaut-Warden hybrid (lacks Engage, but can easily lock down a single opponent for a lengthy duration.)

Ability Sequencing: AA > Q (E) > AA > R > . . . > E > AA (may need balance testing)
