Flint the Mage Hunter

range: 550 (Throws knives, range equal to Kennen auto attack range)

appearance: a mix of graves and Ezreal. black and blue outfit color scheme thuggish clothes, blond hair, left arm holds mana fang(a dagger, blueish silver blade, ornate handle) and his arm is glowing blue halfway up: then a blue vein over the rest of arm\shoulder and 1 lone vein of blue to his left eye which would be blue, as he stores mana the blue could cover more of his body or get brighter?

Passive: Disciple of Skraa Flint doesn't regenerate mana, instead flint stores 10/15/20% of the cost of any ability cast within a large radius of Flint (or 10/20/30 mana; whichever is more) to his mana pool over 5 seconds, up to his max mana. While affected by Mark of Skraa enemy champions spells cost 3/4/5% more per stack and they take 1/2/3% more damage from flints abilities per stack.

Q: Painful Compensation 5% of current mana (20/40/60/80/100 mana minimum) Flint throws Mana Fang in a line applying a Mark of Skraa to the first enemy hit, hitting a second if the first is a minion or monster, and dealing magic damage. If Painful Compensation hits an enemy champion and they are affected by Mark of skraa, all current stacks are consumed dealing the abilities damage plus bonus magic damage (20/30/40/50/60) per stack. If 3 or more stacks are consumed the target is silenced for a short duration (0.5/0.5/0.75/0.75/1 seconds).

W: Mana Fang no cost

passive: Flints auto attack fills his mana gauge by 5/10/15/20/25 per auto attack (1 second cool down). If the target is affected by Mark of Skraa they take magic damage equal to flints mana gained.

Active: Flint empowers his auto attacks. They consume 10/9/8/7/6% of his current mana per auto attack to deal 5/6/7/8/9% of his max mana as bonus magic damage and applying a Mark of Skraa with every other consecutive auto attacks.

E: Wings of skraa Flint grabs an enemy and throws them behind him, pushing any enemy hit to his max range and dealing a small amount of magic damage. If the Target is affected by a mark of Skraa deals bonus damage.

R: Skraas rage 100% of current mana (think Varus ult for distance and Area of effect) Flint unleashes all his stored mana in a bolt of energy hitting the first enemy champion or beginning the channel at max range. Enemy champion hit can move but channels Skraas rage for 2 seconds (-20% per stack of Mark of Skraa) enemies within the area of effect have 5 stacks applied over the duration. Leaving the area of effect causes the current stacks to detonate for a flat amount of magic damage (60/80/100 per stack) and restore 1/2/3% of flints mana per stack detonated. Enemies inside the area of effect at the end of its duration have there stacks detonated taking flat magic damage + (10/20/30% of flints mana drained) and restores 2/4/6% of flints mana per stack consumed

lore enemies: ryze (scroll that ryze carries could be somehting that was used to defeat skraa, or held alot of power when skraa was alive)

lore: Being rewqorked to better go along with the new runeterra lore (no summoners or institute)

nice. i like this rework. looks quite alot like my champ, Delyora. one thing, change the scaling on his ult stacks to 3 lvls not 5. kinda hard to get to lvl 5 on an ability you can only level up 3 times. other than that this is great! can you give some feedback on my champ? i know there is alot to read and im going to be uploading an edited version soon.

Hey there!! Saw your post about getting little attention so I thought I'd drop by ^^

First of all I'd like to say that the theme you used, albeit interesting and cool, is very hard to actually do right. It comes as natural for a mage hunter champion to influence mana regeneration or mana use and these are things Riot tries to avoid. Kassadin (I believe) used to be able to tap into an enemies mana directly and steal from their resource. This was removed due to it being majorly unfair and un-fun to play against. Now I'm not saying you make the same mistake, the Mark of Skraa thing increasing mana consumption might actually be a nice alternative, but it's very important to realise that its a hard mechanic to balance.

The first thing I realised when reading your concept was that it's filled to the brim with spelling and grammar mistakes. Now this does not make it a bad concept in itself, but it does impair the experience that people have when reading it. Since you are from NA I assume that you're native language is English, so Its really weird to see this many mistakes in one piece of tekst. I advise you to read it over and take out these mistakes, or have someone else read and correct it for you. A lot of it is very hard to read because of vague writing and weird sentences....

The champion design is very interesting. I really like the Mark of Skraa mechanic (like I said, it might be the good way of influencing and opponents resource). Its definitely something thats not in the game yet :D The only problem with the mechanic, is that LITERALLY every single ability he has applies stacks...It's WAY to easy for him to apply the stacks, especially since hes ranged and he applies stacks with his auto attacks. I'd advice you to tone the amount of stacking possibilities down a notch, maybe restrict it to just the passive and the ultimate. The consumption of the stacks is nice and brings some synergy into the kit, which is always nice to see. I do not get the use or implementation of his E however. Why would he want to trow his allies? How would that even work? I think that this is by far the weakest/least useful part of his kit. The rest of the kit seems pretty solid :)

As for the lore...dang-nab are you far behind on the in game canon... The thing is that Riot is getting rid of the whole summoners and league lore...as in, there is no Institute of war and no summoners...This has been going on for at least 2 years now, but I understand if you haven't picked up on it yet (very few people do, its something only lore junkies like me have noticed). This means that the biggest part of your lore just simply does not work...The base of his home town being torn apart by mages is fine (albeit a bit cliche) and gives him perfect motivation. I'd advise you to flesh it out and take out the Institute of war.

All in all a very interesting concept :) You have delved into a theme that is really hard to do right and managed to create a half decent kit with a very interesting way of implementing Mana restriction. I hope that you find my feedback useful and that you've learned something :) I can't wait to see future concepts made by you.

P.S. Maybe you could take a look at my own version of a mage hunter champion, just for some inspiration and as an example how you should make your concept visually pleasing and easy to read. His name is Scorn
