RENGAR REWORK IDEAS

A friend and I were looking at Rengar while in a game, and we had this thought: Rengar is too simple. I main / have mained this champion since season 4, but there are a few issues. Rengar is an absolute pain to balance. Changing the numbers seems like it would be okay, but in practice, it never seems to work out. It could be so much easier for the people at Rito to balance if he was a little different. But we didn't just come into this talking blindly
:) We have a pretty great idea about our opinions. Rengar is presented to be a hunter, while what he really is at the moment, is just a little kitty cat that jumps on you whenever you get in his way, and mauls you. His champion title is "The Pridestalker", but why stalk your prey when you can just walk up to them and clock 'em in the face?
Our idea is as follows: Passive : Unseen Predator : [Same as before. Maybe bonetooth necklace isn't needed.]
Q : Tearing Strike : Rengar's next basic deals [xxx] bonus damage and causes the target to bleed for [xxx] over 5 seconds. ..... Rengar's current Q is boring, we gotta give it some pizzazz!
W : Helpless Prey : Rengar places a trap on the ground that becomes invisible after [xxx] seconds. When activated, the trap gives vision to Rengar and his teammates for [xxx] seconds. ..... How do some hunters find their prey in real life? Traps! Maybe doesn't need to be invisible, there are already a bunch of champs who do that.
E : Predator : Rengar searches the environment for clues of his prey's whereabouts, seeing footprints where enemy champions and minions have stepped 15 seconds before. ..... This feels like what a hunter needs in his kit, the player needs to use their own knowledge to be able to tell whether an enemy jungler did their red buff to go gank mid or whether the enemy team is on their way to baron. Minions, monsters, and champions (if not each champion) should have their own footprints. Kind of like Rek'Sai.
R : Thrill of the Hunt : The invisibility is core to Rengar, but maybe it could work more like this: Rengar turns invisible after [xxx] seconds, revealing all enemies in the area. BUT!!! He does NOT get to leap, and the enemies don't get a warning above their heads. This can be traded off for a much, much shorter cooldown.
Please tell us what you think and what we could do better. Critique is a good thing and we appreciate it. ALSO, if anyone at Rito Games is reading this, please put some of our ideas (especially the footprints) into consideration. Thanks all! :p

ult but without the bonus damage from physical damage) Sounds like a good way to rework a very unhealthy champion. [slayer-jinx-wink]
