Tribunal Design?

I recently was playing a normal game when my sister FELL DOWN THE STAIRS. I obviously left the computer and dc'd from inactivity. I was then reported by several members of my team and the other. This, after not having left a game for at least 2 months prior, gave me 5 games of 20 minute bans. This is ridiculous!!! For one thing, it's only a normal the entire reason I play normals at all is so that I don't have to ruin my own and other's LP if I need to dc. Second of all, it's a normal (still). There are people trolling, trying fun builds, and other things, who cares? But the kicker here is that my sister fell down the stairs. If you are playing a video game and you hear screaming coming from down the hall, do you just say "Oh yeah gimme a second I gotta finish this." NO!!! I'm not some cold, heartless, godforsaken moron. Please change the system at least for normals. This is getting out of hand.
