**Archibolt **

Lore: Archibolt was a part of an assembly line in Hextech that produced trinkets and contraptions for a Hextech Corporation. Working the assembly line was simple, assemble small parts and move on. It was a nonchalant task. He noticed he was always making arms and legs and parts of something bigger, but he didn't know what. One day on the job, he was bored and mixed some parts together, creating his first contraption, Boltbot 67. The company he worked for saw the Boltbot 67 as a mistake, and explained to him that it wasn't his job to make anything other than the designs they told him. As he continued working, he heard word that the contraptions he was assembling was to make a mech army for a war- which he didn't agree with. So purposefully he began trying to assemble the full machine. When he finally put the prints together he found the final design. One day on the job he assembled it and immediately The company he worked for called him in to tell him, if he did this again he'd be fired. It was too late, Little did they know that Archibolt was creating an army of his own to take down the corporation. His last contraption he created which was coined in the design as Doombot 64, was created on the day he decided he was done working for the company. When finally ready he unleashed an army of Doombot 64s on the company ending the production of the evil machines. But out there, laid the veins to a even larger plan. Archibolt gathered the designs and made it his life cause to take down the leader of the organization.

**Hextech Steam Hunter **

Archibolt is a champion that is fairly straight forward. He is somewhat a caster that implores minion-esque skills that has its own hierarchy allowing Archibolt some flexibility with his contraptions. This is to emulate the** Hextech Assembler** idea of him. Similar to Heimerdinger and Viktor . He goes into his bag and hurls these small orbs, which turn out to be the minion he's activating.

Another Big part of his kit is the Part System. Similar to champions such as Thresh this secondary resource is a way to expand his main minion ability and to give more options and create different environmental situations with enemy champions.

His W - Scavenge allows his to gather these parts at no cost or cooldown, which in a lore base, is to show how adept he is at crafting and assembling. When Archibolt is close to parts, a tether is made between him and the parts. As Scavenge's level increases the range at which he can do this.

Mobility and Moving Cast My idea for this was Jango Fett to be honest. To emulate this I thought of combining Cassiopeia and Corki , but I wanted his mobility to have a threshold and to be something that is skillful and tactical. Thats where the steam pack idea stems from. The geysers of steam are to be created like Bard trinkets. They should be able to spawn in lane as well.

**Playstyle - **

The idea of this kit is a hextech hunter who uses his steam pack to hunt down junglers or just be mobile whilst mowing down enemies. As long as he has Steam, his kit evolves dramatically, but when he doesn't have steam, he has to be more careful with his skills. The jetpack is used whether in combat or not.

Passive - _Archibolt carries around a backpack of steam. Around the map geysers of air-pressure rise from the ground where gains this resource. When Archibolt stands on them he will gather steam.

Whilst Archibolt has Steam his Jetpack on his back activates. While his Jetpack is on, his movement increases overtime, depleting the steam till he stops moving. His Jetpack animation will raise him off the ground but he is still considered on the ground._

Moving using steam allows Archibolt to cast will moving

Archibolt Wields other Hextech contraptions. One of them Boltbot 67

Q - Archibolt rolls out his Boltbot 67, that assembles and then runs in a direction dealing damage to all enemies it crosses. This skill is similar to Elise 's W except it is tiered.

Passive - Using 3 Parts, Archibolt can create a **Vrombot 11 ** Activate Using 3 Parts - Archibolt rolls a Vrombot which plants itself at a location and created a heavy pull effect to nearby enemies towards it for 1 second

Passive 5 Parts - Doombot 64

Activate Using 5 Parts - Archibolt rolls a Doombot 64 which hones on the nearest enemy champion and fires ranged auto attacks that hit the first enemy.

For this skill imagine Urgot or Caitlyn Ultimate homing skills combined with Heimerdinger W.

If the Doombot 64 very close to the enemy champion it will explode dealing magic damage.

Each Bot drops 1 part after its cast is over.

**W - Scavenge **- No Cooldown, No Cost

Passive - Each time one of Archibolts contraptions dissambles, they leave a pile of parts.

Active - While nearby a pile of parts, Archibolt can activate this skill to gather parts. (Archibolt can use this resource to empower his other skills)

E - Pressurized Practice

Archibolt fires a short burst of missles that explode in a cone infront of him dealing magic damage

R - Super-Extendo Gatling 4000

Passive - Enemies drop parts on death

Archibolt assembles his final contraption which he attaches onto himself. His contraption is a gatling gun that continues firing (On cast - in a direction decided by the players cursor) and as it continues its range increases as long as an enemy is hit.

At first it deals 10% of his ability power per hit, which turns into a maximum of 50% of his ability power/s

Interesting idea. I'd like to see the ultimate increase range over time while channeling the R.

Hey there! Chubby here with my usual champion creation banter lol. I want to start off by giving you props for creating another inventor (no Ekko doesn't count) that could very easily fit into either Piltover or Zaun, or Bandle City if you try hard enough lol though by the sounds of it he doesn't sound like a Yordle. Anyways, I come baring some insight and a new perspective when reviewing your champion! I have to get this question off my chest before I start as this will help you understand the reasoning behind my comments: Is Archibolt a jungler? Ranged? Melee? Lol. This question was bugging me the whole time while reading his abilities XD Let's begin! But instead of starting with the passive, would you be open to starting with the W as it makes up a lot of who this champion is:

W - Scavenge - No Cooldown, No Cost

Passive - Each time one of Archibolts contraptions dissambles, they leave a pile of parts.

Active - While nearby a pile of parts, Archibolt can activate this skill to gather parts. (Archibolt can use this resource to empower his other skills)

This is what defines Archibolt, a smart and resourceful individual with the wits and skills to turn any piece of junk he finds on the floor into something that will give him the upper hand in battle. Is that safe to assume? Please correct me if I am wrong! The way I see it... this fits better as Archibolts passive. Let me explain! The defining characteristic, along with thematic mini game (which Riot LOVES ex. Bard chimes, Thresh souls, Kindred marks, Senna souls) is that Archibolt uses scraps to improve his experience. So why not make it his passive? I'll be honest, the reason why I'm suggesting this is because there isn't... really... a... point... in... putting any points into this ability :( The way it's written it's a simple, basic passive with little to no improvement as the game progresses aside from giving Archibolt a longer range to grab things with, which sounds a little weird lol. So instead of making this an ability that people have to level up, why not make it his static passive? Also... could this function with large minions/monsters? Because that would really solidify his role as a jungler (not sure if he is). Since my suggestion replaces this W passive with his current passive, let me show you what I have in mind for his passive once it's swapped to a basic ability. As written yours reads:

Passive - _Archibolt carries around a backpack of steam. Around the map geysers of air-pressure rise from the ground where gains this resource. When Archibolt stands on them he will gather steam.

Whilst Archibolt has Steam his Jetpack on his back activates. While his Jetpack is on, his movement increases overtime, depleting the steam till he stops moving. His Jetpack animation will raise him off the ground but he is still considered on the ground._

Moving using steam allows Archibolt to cast will moving

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this ability as a passive. It's actually a solid passive, but if we were to make this an ability that is leveled up, we can SPICE THE HOOT OUT OF IT! For starters we can keep everything exactly the same and just ADD to it lol. Let's say that this ability keeps its current passive, but now... you can activate it O___O NICE!! We can explore more about this steampack of his! It could work as a dash/hop to either escape or as a gap closer (which junglers love nowadays) or it could function as a damaging ability upon cast, or as a peeling ability that pushes everyone away from Archibolt when used. The possibilities are only limited by the imagination! These are just suggestions of course! Let's explore the rest of his kit!

Q - Archibolt rolls out his Boltbot 67, that assembles and then runs in a direction dealing damage to all enemies it crosses. This skill is similar to 's W except it is tiered. Passive - Using 3 Parts, Archibolt can create a Vrombot 11 Activate Using 3 Parts - Archibolt rolls a Vrombot which plants itself at a location and created a heavy pull effect to nearby enemies towards it for 1 second Passive 5 Parts - Doombot 64 Activate Using 5 Parts - Archibolt rolls a Doombot 64 which hones on the nearest enemy champion and fires ranged auto attacks that hit the first enemy. For this skill imagine or Ultimate homing skills combined with W. If the Doombot 64 very close to the enemy champion it will explode dealing magic damage. Each Bot drops 1 part after its cast is over.

Not sure why copy and paste removes the champion icons. I apologize for this. I have some questions about this ability: Can you choose which bot to deploy? Let's say you have 5 parts, but want to create a Boltbot, is this possible? If not, then it will really hurt his strategy! I'm sure we could come up with a mechanism that allows him to filter through his robot selection (shouldn't be too hard). May I say that Vrombot sounds AMAZING for ganks? Because it really does lol. Could you imagine some dude walking into your lane and not knowing if he even has enough parts to cast his only form of CC? LOL. Archibolt's sheer presence will be feared. I like the concept of creating little robots to do your dirty work one concern/warning: if doombot hones it's attacks, his damage will have to be low, and I mean... low! This is a basic ability that is essentially point click that sounds like it does massive amounts of damage. The fact that this robot costs 5 parts means that it should be very strong, but as a basic ability (regardless of how hard it is to obtain these parts is) the damage will have be lowered. Now, if you fix this so that it DOESN'T home in on its target then the numbers can be high, but not too high lol. Just some ideas lol.

E - Pressurized Practice

Archibolt fires a short burst of missles that explode in a cone infront of him dealing magic damage

Not going to lie, without any numbers or any context this ability is a little underwhelming. We can work with numbers such as base/scaling damage, and cooldown to make this a powerful and basic ability but just between you and me... that's what Heimerdinger's W is... :( I can see how Heimerdinger might have heavily inspired this ability but it's a little too close of an ability to what Heim currently possess. This isn't inherently a bad thing, since we have plenty of spells that feel the same (basically any linear skill shot lol) I just wanted to bring this to your attention. We can work with it though! I would suggest spicing up this ability with an additional effect. Perhaps activating this ability grants Archibolt a stack of Parts? Maybe it has charges (similar to Corki's R)? There must be something that can be added to make this ability more... MORE! Lol. I look forward to hearing what you come up with. Or we can work on this together! :D

First and foremost, thank you for making champions drop parts. While I was reading through your post I was like "Omg, champions don't drop parts? That's going to slow this guy down by a lot." Thus why I thought he was primarily a jungler lol. But I'm glad to see it in his ultimate, which seems a little clunky since his ultimate doesn't thematically cause a champion to drop parts, unless you're firing them with lasers that turn them into metal :O Some questions: What would the duration of this ability be? Does this function similar to Lucian's R? Working in some numbers would heavily help the clarity of this ability because as it stands it seems a little underwhelming. Perhaps a flat damage scaling would round out this ability and help me decide if this is broken or requires a buff. As it's written... it needs a buff lol. It provides sub par dps as an ultimate (compare with the likes of Lucian, Miss Fortune, and Twitch who have a similar concept) and doesn't provide any utility for team fights (compare to Yummi, or VelKoz). If it's going to be a dps centered ultimate, then it's going to need some heavy numbers behind it. It you want to keep the dps low they you could incorporate some CC or another fun mechanic to it. Perhaps it applies grievous wounds? Slows? Something must function with this kit thematically AND cohesively to flesh out this champion's full potential.

This is all for the chubbiest review NA. It was pleasure looking over your champion and I look forward to hearing back from you! If you would like to work on your character concept further I am currently looking to set up a stream (after winter break) where I sit down with players and create a champion with them! If you would like to be a part of this them let me know! It would be cool to see what Archibolt's true potential is! CHEERS! Marry Christmas!
