Quite an interesting idea
tl;dr Diana ult as a curved skill
Recently I have seen one of Jeremy's videos - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er0ZbRKACBs&t=1s
And in the last bit he mentions that Diana meant to get two mini-reworks but Riot couldn't find anything that would fit her. I've though on that for a good bit and I came up with a small change to her ult, but one which fit the thematic of uniqueness and overall adds a little bit of flavor to her kit.
**The change is quite minor -> Diana's ult in now a curved skill, kinda like her Q is. **
**Reasons for that change: ** Diana is not immune to dmg and cc during her ultimate. She might get placed behind the enemy if she's close enough. So basically what the kit designer tells you is that: "When enemy uses a skill or cc, use your ultimate to get placed behind him and dodge", but when you do, you get the damage and cc anyways as you move towards that skill, besides you don't apply dmg and you don't get reset on your ult so it's actually getting much worse.
You could ult before an enemy casts his skill, but in this scenario the enemy will just turn himself around and use it on you anyways.

I do realize that the paint might not be the best tool to show you what I have inside my head but you get the point. Just imagine Diana casting her Q, but instead of the projectile that moves in a curved shape, she is the one that starts moving along curved path. Imagine Diana casting Q but instead of projectile her dash animation kicks off.
**What that would change: ** Diana can still be damaged while ulting and can still be cc'd but that curved path gives the Diana player a small field for outplay. Just imagine the deadly combo going your way and your character going towards it, and in the very last moment before it hits you, your character sidesteps and dodges it and then continues to chase it's target.
I think that this skill fits in the thematics of Diana quite well as it is a:
- unique skill(no other character in the game has curved dash)
- it matches the rest of her kit
- it is an "aggressive" skill, what I mean is that you not only dodge with it(as Lucian does with his E for example), but you also go in hardly, which is kinda a Diana's thing to do
- It adds a little bit of variety to the champion that really doesn't have any mechanics
- It is curved and those curved skills are kinda Diana's trademark
Tell me what you think about it. I can see endless situations when this skill could be utilized to maximum of it's potential, and the potential is huge, believe me. For me that would have be something new and fresh to see in league - a curved dash. Also imagine the amount of montages and outplays and the feeling when your character dodges by only few units a deadly combo. Or when you run away on 100 hp and Nida throws a spear and you have to chose, or you will die running away or you will go in just go in hardly, dodging the spear but on the other hand forced now to duel Nida in close fight.
There would be more fun with it for sure than with the boring straight line dash that we have today.
