Fiddlesticks Rework Concept

Because thinking up reworks is fun.

Fiddlesticks is ....weird. He's one of the oldest champions in the game, and it shows.

The problem with Fiddlesticks isn't that he's good or bad, but more how clunky and unwieldy his kit is, as well as how his playstyle can be both predictable and lacking counterplay. His ideal strategy usually ends up being "Stand near your enemies and hope you kill them before they kill you". It's not exactly the most interactive player experience in the game, for either side.

That said, he does have some unique and iconic features about him, such as his iconic ability to appear out of nowhere and spook his enemies to the point of cardiac arrest. Things like this are mechanics that can definitely be kept, if made more interactive.

Hopefully this rework concept helps to fix both of these issues, whilst giving him some flexibility in how he uses his abilities.

So without further ado, here's my concept for a Fiddle rework.

Fiddlesticks - The Dreadbringer

Passive - Screaming Spellbreaker

Every few seconds, Fiddlestick's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage.

If the target is affected by either Souldrainer Hex or Carrion Curse, their effects spread to nearby champions and also briefly silences all targets hit.

Q - Terrorsurge

Fiddlesticks gains a large burst of movement speed.

W - Souldrainer Hex

Fiddlesticks targets an enemy with a withering spell, damaging them and healing Fiddlesticks for a portion of the damage dealt to his target while they are being drained.

Fiddlesticks can only heal from a maximum of 2 champions at once.

Souldrainer Hex can be applied while stealthed without breaking stealth.

E - Carrion Curse

Fiddlesticks commands one of his crows to mark his target, reducing their magic resistance.

Souldrainer Hex's heal is increased on targets affected by Carrion Curse.

Terrorsurge's speed boost is doubled on cursed targets.

Ultimate - Crowstorm

Fiddlesticks channels briefly before teleporting to a target location. Upon arrival, he stealths.

Upon reactivation, Fiddlesticks reappears and brings his army of crows with him, fearing Nearby enemies. The murder of crows then encircles Fiddlesticks viciously, damaging nearby enemies over time.

Interesting take on the ult, only downside I can think of is fear and radial damage may be counter-intuitive as the fear would make them run away from Fiddles at the center of the storm, basically automatically fleeing from the damage radius.

To be honest i like fiddles' current passive which you just stuck onto his Q so, maybe switch the Q and Passive (if he is a melee champ then what you have as the passive would be a really good ability). Also to me the stealth on his ult seems unnecessary and maybe it would be better off moving all the extra stuff on his E to his ult. Just my opinion. Despite all of that though, nice rework conception!
