(Champion Concept) Galiton - The Gazer of the Stars

Lore: They say magic is a thing of nature, that it comes from the Earth, the trees, the water, the fire, the air, and the frost. But Galiton thought outside the box, or in his case, atmosphere.

Ever since he was a child in the high class of Piltover, Galiton was obsessed with the stars. He would constantly sneak out at night to go to the Piltover Observatory, run by his father. He was always caught and scolded by the master astronomer, but Galiton and his father always ended up peering through the Eye of Truth, the largest device ever constructed to see into the great beyond of space.

The young star gazer grew up, academically decimating any person in his path, and eventually earned himself an apprenticeship under his father inside the Piltover Observatory.

One day, when Galiton was polishing the Eye of Truth, a realization struck the apprentice astronomer: If many types of magic, both unique, rare, and common, existed not only on Runeterra, but in the whole world, what if there were were new and powerful magic locked away in the heavens?

Galiton told his theory to his father, but the aging astronomer chuckled at the idea, telling him that it was interesting and unique at least, but the Observatory wouldn't pursue it, preferring to chart out the skies then unlock it's secrets.

Undaunted by his father's words, Galiton went to work on a device that would harness the power of distant planets, stars, comets, anything. He called it the CosmicCaster, and after prototype after prototype, the young astronomer got closer and closer to his finished product, but was unable to figure out what was missing. Then, he finally figured out what was missing: Something to magnify the energy, and output, so to speak.

There was only one thing powerful enough harness such a force: The lens of the Eye of Truth.

Galiton shut down the project for months, refusing to destroy the symbol of his passion. He stored the most successful prototype in his workshop inside the room of the Eye of Truth.

On a day of star charting like any other, in the span of thirty seconds, with crashes, screaming, shots, and booms, the entire observatory was overrun with Zaun extremists, all who were extremely opposed to the rival of the great science city, Piltover. The Eye of Truth was rigged with explosives, and detonated, causing the great symbol of piltover to come toppling over.

Galiton watched his symbol crash to the ground with a mix of horror, rage, and heartbreak.

The lens of the Eye of Truth rolled over on its side, due to it being made of such a material that it wouldn't break from a measly explosion or fall. It came to rest in front of him. He stared at the lens, and idea starting to form in his mind. He looked at his unfinished prototype, and the terrorists, who were about to start executing astronomers. None of them were by him, or watching him.

He grabbed the lens, it being heavier then it looked, and hauled it stealthily to his equipment. He started tinkering...

His father was brought up, and was about to be executed by a man with a pistol...before he was blasted by pure cosmic energy. He stood still for a moment, before a large black orb appeared in his chest, and swallowed his body. The orb disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.

All of the extremists were confused, and seeing as they were outnumber, fled.

Galiton was heralded as a hero, and on that day, stated his two goals: Repair the Eye of Truth, and show the world the potential of Cosmic Magic.

"People say astronomy is boring, but I feel like they don't feel the gravity of the situation...I apologize, space humor." Galiton on his league judgement.

Abilities

Passive: Cosmic Eye: Every 120 seconds, Galiton will look through his telescope, revealing one enemy champion in the fog of war. This effect will not take place until neutral monsters have spawned, and will not reveal stealthed champions.

Q: Gravitational Singularity: Galiton summons a black hole, pulling nearby enemy units toward it before detonation and disappearing, dealing damage to any unit in the radius.

W: Supernova: Galiton fires a star in a straight line, dealing damage to the first target hit and latching onto the unit. After a set amount of time, the star goes super nova, dealing damage to it and any nearby units. If the star does not latch onto anyone, it will stab at max range and detonate there.

E: Orbiting Prison: Galiton summons 5 asteroids that orbit a set distance away from him. If an asteroid comes in contact with an enemy, it bursts, dealing damage to the target struck. When all asteroids are detonated, the edge of the circle where the asteroids were becomes a wall that cannot be walked or dashed through.

R: Stargate: Galiton can select any spot within 5500 units and will start channeling for 10. While he is channeling, a gate will open up at the selected area. Any champion that walks onto the circle will teleported to Galiton's position 1.5 seconds later. They will be standing where Galiton is facing, and if Galiton is CC'd when a champion is traveling through the stargate, they will be sent right back to base. Stargate can be canceled by pressing R again, or moving. H
