Champion Idea

NOTE: This is outdated; updated Champion concept here http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/xxBwEGgt-infurnis-spirit-of-the-immortal-flames Basically this champion's gonna be a mage with a kamikaze style play, sort of like Karthus but different. Appearance could a Gender bent Annie without a teddybear, different outfit and Phoenix wings. Abilities use HP. Here are the spells so far: Ignis P - Phoenix Spirit: Rebirth - Ignis gets 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5/6/6.5/7/7.5/8/8.5/9 reduced death timer. Dying Flame - Upon death, Ignis burns up and explodes, dealing magic damage(with about 0.75ish AP scaling) to nearby enemy champions Updated: Upon death, Ignis becomes a Phoenix for 4 seconds, gaining 100% movement speed and attack speed, magic damage per autoattack with 10% AP scaling, but getting negative tenacity(basically CC lasts twice as long)

Q - Phoenix Shot: Shoots a long range flame dealing Magic damage to target enemy champion and exploding dealing reduced damage to enemies around the target(Cost: 10% Max HP)(Medium CD, 6ish secs maybe) W - Explosion: Deals Magic Damage to enemies around Ignis. (Cost: 5/7.5/10/12.5/15% Max HP)(No cast time, can be cast while moving)(Longish CD, 15 seconds about) E - Char: Stuns Target Champion(Now a long range single hit skillshot) for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds and marks target, causing Ignis to deal 5/12.5/15/20/25% additional damage to marked Champion.(Cost: 15% Max HP) R - Apocalypse in Flames: Does damage Karthus Ult style, with about 1.5-2x the damage of Karthus's ult without channeling. Can only use if above 80% HP and kills user. Ignis's death using this ability ignores item 3026 and Zilean 's ult, but will apply Yorick 's ult and has reduced death timer from rebirth. Also applies Dying Flame. Updated: Does 700/1200/1500 base damage with 0.5 AP scaling in an AoE area about the size of Zyra's ult(Possibly larger). Can only use if Ignis is above 70% HP(Cost: 50% of Ignis's CURRENT HP)(CD: 150-170 Rank 1 and 100-120 at Max rank)

Playstyle: Ignis is, obviously enough, a risky champion to use, that can snowball quite heavily due to decent AP scaling but can also wreck in teamfights if behind due to his high base damage AoE nuke. Ignis is essentially risky, but safe as he doesn't really fall off at any point, has a decent stun and high AoE. In 1v1 scenarios Ignis is especially good against bursty mages or assassins as Ignis's combos burst himself, as well as the enemy, usually resulting in a suicide kill. This means that while Ignis doesn't need to get kills to snowball, he can't get them reliably without killing himself, thus putting him in a position similar to Orianna as he doesn't fall off, snowballs well but can't really get fed to snowball.

TL;DR: Ignis is a suicidal Orianna, as he is a safe pick in scaling but is risky in teamfights due to his suicidal play style. Edit edit: Someone is using Ignis as a name for another Champion idea, I'll change the name later. Edit edit edit: I'm using this Champion to rework into another with lore. Appearance and general idea is the same though. Will link the new one here.

Fun. But absolutely terrible.

The design is kinda fun and it's technically balanced, but way to unfun to play with or against. The passive makes diving him horrible (oh I almost died wait he exploded killing me), and being a squishy mage makes his W kinda useless until you get E or they dive.

Probably best/worst is the ultimate, which while technically balanced (you have to be high hp and it kills you!) is really unfair and unfun. Due to no channel time and EXTREMELY high global damage the only counter is to instantly go b if he ever looks like he's about to hit 80% hp. While the killing himself balances it, it's still highly unfun for the enemies.
