Elderwood or River Spirit Leblanc?

As much as I want the Elderwood skin line to be extended, Should Elderwood Leblanc be changed to River Spirit? Just look at the color schemes. Also Leblanc has lotus flowers (or water lilies?) Which grow in waters. I know that if they changed her to River Spirit, they would be making a skin line. But River Spirit seems much more fitting. Elderwoods I see to be tree-like not swampy. (A forest spirit not a swamp) Still I like both Elderwoods and River Spirit.

EDIT: I did forget about the E that also (At least I think) is her launching a lotus.

Maybe the colours are similar to a River Spirit but she has nothing to do with a River. All her effects regard the woods and plants.

From what I saw Elderwood isn't bound to "Look Ima Tree!" but more like "What would they look if they were nature being".

But yet I too notice the similarities.

Forest Spirit LeBlanc

She's not quite River themed, despite an extremely similar palate, and she certainly doesn't fit the Elderwood style. Tying her to the River Spirit line without actually making her a River Spirit is probably the best bet.

I'd agree with you because fairies don't necessarily live in the woods, fairies can also be river spirits. The Elderwood theme could've been kept for someone like Lissandra (not because she's been out for longer than Yasuo and has less skins than him or anything lol).

Is it possible that she just resembles a different time in the forest? Bard as Autumn(Fall), Hecarim as Summer and now Leblanc as Spring which explains why she is much more vibrant than everyone else. If this is really how this set is going to be then I see the Winter one being a bit more muted to go with it. Idk it is just something I thought about.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who saw the new LeBlanc skin and was instantly reminded of River Spirit Nami. Only problem is, Where as Nami can be easily connected to a river, LeBlanc, even with this skin, can't. In my opinion I'm glad they're making the elderwood skinline non-repetitive unlike other skinlines (hello blood moon- put red on a champ and make particles bloody and done [zombie-brand-facepalm] ).

Stuff like this lets people who like the theme of a skinline (Nature in this case) to actually have a skin and have it fit in with skins their friends may use. And besides, life wouldn't be fun if everything followed a strict guideline eh? [slayer-jinx-wink]

The LB skin looks like a Zyra update where they included faerie wings into her kit. Legit lol. It is really cool though.
