Champion Type Ideas

Description: I'm running out of ideas on how to make these concepts so I could use your guy's help. I have a list of types of champions and types of weapons and possibly other subjects that I want to see but never really see much in the league, so here's the list.

Appearance: Alien - Most of our champions that come from space are all mystical and come from the heavens. How about other species from outer space? Maybe one that got stranded or one that's scouting Valoran for an alien invasion. Something having to do with a species from outerspace that has no connection to the magical world we know today. It could be anything. Like Alien or Predator. One technological, another animalistic. Yandere - When I first saw the Yandere simulator, I thought it was going to be a joke which was what the developer was afraid of. So as he updated the game, I got into it a little more and he even add some creative ways to kill off the competition. I wonder how characters like these would get pulled off in the League of Legends. PTSD - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in case certain people don't know what it stands for. Something based on Metal Gear Solid 4's stress system. In the game, as the stress meter gets high, it makes it hard for the player to fight. But in here, instead of a stress meter raising for negative effects, how about a stress meter that gives positive effects as it gets higher. Kind of like Rumble's heat meter except in order for it to increase, you have to take damage. The more damage you take, the greater the stress. Automotive - A car theme'd champion, no I don't mean drive a car. Just a champion who builds devices that either give him wheels to move faster, build devices with wheels to charge at your enemy, or an ultimate when the user rides a motorcycle with a loud rev for everyone to here. Technological Healer - Someone who uses technology to heal teammates. A doctor. Most preferably a guy. We already have enough female healers in not just League of Legends but pretty much video games in general. Ranged Tank - Most, in fact all champions with tank as their main role are melee fighters. How about one who uses ranged attacks? This one's just a nit-pick. Broke - A champion who only joined the League of Legends to earn money. Not just any cash grabber but a desperate one. Broke, poor, whatever state he or she is in, they need the money really badly. Worst Job Ever - All the champions loved their place in the League of Legends, even ones who didn't want to be who they are now. How about one who gets really annoyed about being part of the League of Legends. One who had no choice but to join or he won't get a job. Something similar to the Broke champion concept but this one's not really in desperate need for money. Maybe this champion ended up in the league for other dumb reasons. All for the sake of hilarious dialogue. Ancient Archery - There's a man named Lars Anderson who studied the ancient techniques of actual archery and his studies and practices are outside of what we see archery in most video games and movies. Lars demonstrated that he could use this archery to shoot quickly and efficiently. Perhaps this could be a champion who's focused on attack speed. Let me get to that later. Paint Artist - Drawing to fight, it's what you'd expect from a paint artist if he were a champion. Simply draw a warrior to fight or draw a line that damage enemies. It's gonna be hard to pull off since it could be any picture. Maybe use the cursor to draw the picture although that might lead to dirty players drawing inappropriate figures that might cause a permanent ban. Female Mechanic - Vi doesn't count. She just punches stuff. I'm talking about a female mechanic who builds stuff to fight like robots or sentries like Heimerdinger. Just a female mechanic.

Weapons: Power Saw - One of the most brutal weapons in horror movies. Power Saws can leave a bloody mess but we've yet to see such a weapon here in the League of Legends. So why not make a champion who wields a power saw? I love to mess up my greatest enemies in violent ways (In game, not real life. I ain't that kind of life.) Ranged Mecha - Since Rumble rides a mech, I guess it's okay to add another in the League of Legends. How about one with ranged weaponry? Doesn't matter which role, a mage, a marksman, just as long as the user rides a mech focused on ranged attacks. Assault Rifle - A character with of course an assault rifle. Doesn't matter which role as long as the person is wielding this weapon for his auto attacks. Perhaps the auto attacks would work just like Corki's gatling gun. Not sure how they'll pull that off but hey, it's a game company. They can do what they want. Tank - Since Corki and Rumble are the only champions with a technological vehicle, let's add another. How about a tank? This connects with the ranged tank suggestion. This one is not only a tank champion but a champion that rides a military tank. Not only will it have armor but be armed with explosives. This one's also a nit-pick. If you guys want, you could try making this concept yourself cause I don't know what to do with it. Eye Laser - Like cyclops from x-men. Magic damage or physical damage? Who cares! You shoot lasers from your eyes. That's pretty much what I can say. I'm sure that's easy to pull off. Stretched Arms - Stretching arms for ranged auto-attacks. Zac may be a champion who can stretch but that's done by activating abilities, not using auto attacks. Wand - Some Harry Potter type champion wielding a magic wand. I've yet to see a wizard champion that's actually holding one as small as the wands from Harry Potter or any other wizard stories. Magic Gun - Range Weaponry like all gunner champions, but instead of building through attack damage, you build ability power. We got Heimerdinger to build guns that deal magic damage but he builds the guns to work themselves. I want a gunner who wields a gun to do magic damage. Guitar - Not for smashing but for playing. Sona may have the strings but it's not a guitar even though that's her joke. You play the guitar with epic music and it deals tons of damage to your enemies. Violin - Same concept as the Guitar but with a little more class. Maybe play Mozart music as you fight in the League of Legends. Fan - I've yet to see a character who uses a fan as a primary weapon. That use to be Karma but they changed her and the fans she uses weren't really shown to be used as much. Maybe we could have a fighter class with a fan like Kitana from Mortal Kombat, or a champion who uses a fan as a source of wind powers.

Other: No Magic Technology - Hextech is the common tech used by many of the cities in Valoran, famous or infamous ones being Piltover and Zuan. But what if there was a champion who uses technology that not only doesn't use magic but has no need to. Some engineer who could use non-magic technology to get even with the mages. Earth - What if we had a champion who came from our world? Maybe through space or through a magic portal. Or like in the anime, Gate: And so the Japanese Self Defense Force Fought, a gate appears that separates Valoran from modern Earth. Or in Familiar of a Zero, a summoner summons a person from Earth. Not the most popular concept but just a thought. Explicit Backstory - The Brothers Grimm tells the more horrific version of our fairy tales, like in Cinderella, the step sisters would cut their feet just to make it fit in their shoes. I never really heard much of blood and gore in many champion backstories. It's all just someone dying from being struck by a sword. As far as explicit goes, I only hear a champion butcher someone to death, no details. It's also not a popular and possibly an appropriate concept but as long as it doesn't get too violent in the gameplay, it should be okay to have. Fanboy - Someone like Po from Kung Fu Panda. A champion who freaks out after coming across certain champions they idle whether they are his allies or his enemies. I'm not sure how the ability set would go but the dialogue would be funny. Cancelled Projects - In the early days of League of Legends, there were certain champions that were cancelled and instead were seen in coffins on the bottom right of the old Summoner's Rift map. Champions like the Voodoo Shaman were put there instead when they were cancelled. Maybe there's a chance we could get one of those champions started up again so we can play as them, most likely the Voodoo Shaman since he's a unique character. Nuclear Warfare - For lore wise, what if we had a champion that has nukes coming from a certain area. This one's a hard one to make since we know that nukes are suppose to blow everything up. What if this champion had a passive or ultimate where it infects the entire map with radiation. I know there's probably a lack of logic since there are monsters that are already mutated to be radiated but who knows. Maybe this nuclear weaponry is made of magic. Not only would it affect the enemies but it should also affect everyone. Back up plan - A champion who is able to help his team catch up when they are losing. Most games I play have people not being able to catch up and continue losing the game. Either I'm on the winning team, or the losing team. So what if there was a champion that can help balance that? There's a restriction. This is a concept that's only for helping teammates catch up when they are losing. If they are on the winning team, they don't need a back up plan.

This is a big list. I hope you guys got some ideas. Some of them, possibly all of them you won't agree with. But I hope you guys have lists of your own. If you do, just let me know. I'll be happy to see them.
