Another New Character :-)

Hey guys! Yesterday i posted my art for the first time ever in a public setting, and i wanted to thank those who have asked questions and gave feedback, it helped a lot! I we also be taking what was said into consideration for my upcoming work. Quickly i also wanted to thank those who took the time to give it a look! If you guys haven't got a chance to look at it feel free to click on my name and check it out. I'm super excited to get feedback and answer any questions to help further my ideas! This new character is the 5th member in this group and could be a potential good champ to join the league in my opinion XD This is my first full realized sketch of him, and i will be doing a better concept (same with the others) in the near future. So let me know what you all think! Please don't be shy, all type of feedback is welcome and if you have any question feel free to lay them on me :)

You've drawn lee sin with a robot arm

I actually havn't thought of it like that, but i suppose it kinda looks like him i guess haha. The robot arm is actually his gauntlet that shoots metal circular disks that he can control XD

I like it, and maybe a way to avoid the similarity between him and Lee sin is try to make it more obviously futuristic. Right now, the similarities lie in the general pose, which looks like Lee's idle animation, as well as the fact that his eyes are covered. If you went for more of a half face mask instead of a sort of vizor type thing like now, then it would be a big help. The other thing is that right now, it doesn't say, "I'm a futuristic badass that shoots razor sharp blades from my arm" It is just a touch too subtle to be distinguishing (I realized the same about your last set, they seem a like they are "safe" designs, not as daring or bold as I feel you could make them). If you made his arm launcher/cannon more of a focal point and went a bit further towards the cyborg assassin vibe that this guy gives, then I think you would have a really great concept here. This looks really good so far, just like the first batch, and I can't wait to see more!

Now that you mention that about lee sin's game pose i can totally see it. I totally didn't even think about him when i was making my character. That's so weird. Yeah i totally feel you on the note of being "safe" and it doesn't really get the character personality across with what i have done so far. Since these characters where only my first full sketches of them i can and will promise you that the next concepts i do in the future will make them scream out what and who they are :-) I really appreciate the feedback and insight you have given me! I will re-work him a bit and make him pull away from lee sin! Thank you so much for the compliment as well :-)

Yup! To be honest its kinda the only thing i am good at. Its what i'm going to school for. I am currently 20 yrs old and am a sophomore in college so i have a lot of learning to do haha. Thanks again man! Feel free to check me out in the near future too! i will be putting up more stuff :-)
