**Hey guys! I'm uploading Xaladuin again with some improvements and ability tweaks. Each ability and stat (movement speed and magic resist not included) has much more quantitative data and gives a more thorough description of each ability and its effects. A fellow Summoner pointed out all of my mistakes (which were many) and told me where I could find information regarding the correction of said mistakes. Thanks to him/her, I was able to fill a majority of the potholes within my champion concept. Please give me feedback. Every comment is worth it. Just know that I am no expert at creating champion concepts. Literally, I just started four days ago. Also, it is best for you to know that the majority of Xaladuin's damage is purposely DoT (Damage Over Time). ** ● ● ●

Lore

Xaladuin was a fellow brother of the Five Paths of Prophecy who governed plague, poisons, sickness, viruses, and diseases. Witch doctors praised him as the Voodoo King, and warlocks and druids praised him as the Cypheri, which translated into “Blacklord” or “Lord of Black Magic”. He gifted his followers, one of them being Vladimir, the mindset to create and learn how to manage powerful spells gathered from the spirits of Hijuron to their very own bodies. For nearly a thousand years, as sinister and dark as Xaladuin is, he has always despised the sight of blood. Not because of Vladimir’s magic, but because of a personal student and mortal ally of his. It’s been centuries since he last seen or heard from him. When Xaladuin’s pupil was still in touch, it wasn’t the best of moral relationships. It was the worst mistake of his life to train another mortal, but even Nazaraxus could understand why he did such a thing. Not only was his ally just as powerful as a young Prophet, but he was Xaladuin’s first best friend. Xaladuin never wanted to lose him, so he shared information sacred to only his brothers and father. Now here he was, still filled with guilt and shame, resting on his only friend’s abandoned throne. It was as if everything had happened just yesterday…

“This world will know the true meaning of destruction!” a voice yelled louder than the thunder than roared in the stormy skies. Red lightning jumped from cloud to cloud, a few strikes leaving potholes in the earth every time they shot down from the heavens. It was raining blood, boiling blood that burned every surface it came in contact with like acid. Winds violently charged through the air like an angry herd of bulls, causing trees and tall reeds of grass to lean into horizontal positions. Dead bodies, undead soldiers loyal to their ruler, blanketed the ground like a gray and crimson sheet. The only three things that survived the onslaught were Xaladuin, his student, and his student’s kingdom, Ravashuak. “Why do you take the side of these lowly humans? You are a Prophet, a being far above these mindless creatures!”

“I am a Prophet because I swear my loyalty to the evolution of all species. Out of all of the people in this world, you should know that well enough, Varian,” Xaladuin grunted, his body caked in blood, more of it his own. He raised his staff towards him. “Don’t do this. You still have a choice to make!”

“I know, and I have,” Varian collected all of the blood in the area and morphed it all into a meteor-sized spear. “It seems that your choice opposes mine. Very well then, let this last attack decide the fate of the world, Xaladuin. Prepare yourself!”

“What happened to you? We were allies, best friends who built the Bloody Capital together!” Xaladuin yelled out of desperation. “Have you forgotten about our adventures, the time we spent together, the smiles we shared?”

Varian laughed with an insane pitch. “Those memories mean nothing here! Your sob stories of the past will not change the present, nor the future! I thank you for blessing me with your strength and knowledge, Xaladuin, but now your time as a Prophet will come to an end. Die!”

When he saw Varian ready himself to throw his blood crafted weapon, Xaladuin spared no time to launch his staff right into his student’s heart. Varian growled in pain as the staff threw him backwards miles into his throne room. The blood spear vanished, and Varian was impaled into his seat. Xaladuin waved his hands and shouted a chant. His staff responded by glowing vibrantly, sending magic pouring through Varian’s spirit. Varian yelled out of anger as he knew that escape was inevitable. In a matter of minutes, the staff exploded and covered Varian in thick substance that hardened into crystals. His throne became a sparkling stone, a magical prison purposed to seal away its victim for all of eternity.

“I know you’re out there Varian, learning everything that’s happened over the past few centuries. Please, I beg of you, don’t make the wrong choice a second time. Because this time, I won’t be sympathetic and seal you away with your pride. You will die by my hands in the name of order.” -Xaladuin, Prophet of Affliction

● ● ●

Passive – Last Stand (0/0/0/0/0 Mana) [Cooldown: 230]: When Xaladuin’s health drops to 1% he automatically consumes all of his remaining mana, granting him immunity from death for 3.5 seconds. During this time, Xaladuin cannot cast spells or regenerate mana.

**Q – Death Wish (60/60/60/60/60 Mana) [Range: 480] [Cooldown: 3]: **Xaladuin selects an enemy champion and curses them, dealing 60/80/100/120/140 (+45% AP) damage over 3 seconds. Cursing an enemy reveals them to other nearby teammates (Range: 800) for 3 seconds. While marked, any other source of magic damage is amplified by +10%/15%/20%/25%/30%.

**W – Imprison (80/80/80/80/80 Mana) [Range: 500] [Cooldown: 9]: **After a 0.50 second delay, Xaladuin summons a ring of dark crystals at a targeted area (Radius: 300). Minions and enemy champions caught inside are trapped for 2 seconds unless they touch the crystals, in which they will all explode simultaneously, dealing 70/80/90/100/110 (+30% AP) (40% AP if marked) damage over 2 seconds.

**E – Chain Siphon (60/65/70/75/80 Mana) [Range: 750] [Cooldown: 7]: **Xaladuin fires a pair of spectral chains towards either one or two enemy champions. If Chain Siphon strikes one champion, Xaladuin leashes on them and begins channeling, dealing 80/90/100/110/120 (15% AP) (25% AP if marked) magic damage per second and healing for 10% of the damage dealt. If Chain Siphon strikes two champions, Xaladuin leashes them both and channels for half of the benefits (40/50/60/70/80 +15% AP) (25% if marked) (5% healing for damage dealt). During channeling, Xaladuin is snared and the only ways Chain Siphon can be interrupted is by either attacking Xaladuin or moving out his ability’s range (750) (Think of Zed’s Q when his shadow is active. Two blue lines with one that corresponds in direction with the other. Aiming your cursor in the middle turns them into one giant blue line. Moving them left or right turns them into two smaller blue lines).

R – Reap (100/100/100 Mana) [Cooldown: 80]: Xaladuin uses dark magic to transform his staff into a black reaper’s scythe made out of pure energy for 8/10/12 seconds, gaining bonus attack speed (+0.600/0.800/1.000), attack range (+120/130/140), ability power (+40%/80%/120%), and spell vamp (+20%/40%/60%). Although it deals physical damage, the scythe’s damage is mostly magic damage (95% AP and 5% AD). While active, each basic attack dealt by the scythe deals 10/20/30 (20% AP) (30% AP if marked) magic damage over 2 seconds, which stacks 5 times.
