This skin is an epic concept, has tons of potential, and there's no reason not to make it. Lets not have another magma chamber please.

lets get this hyped up again. Hopefully riot can dedicate time to this 3 year old concept.

Riot is really dragon their heels on this one... Let's cause an uproar over this skin until it gets the attention it deserves! It's clearly one of the hottest designs around.

Bump. Cant believe this skin is lacking community support. Plz look at this concept compared to the other legendary skins already released and it is easily as good if not better than Gatekeeper Galio, and Dunkmaster Darius. And far better than most of the other ones currently out there for champs like nunu (nunu bot), skarner, cho... cho has 2 legendary skins for goodness sake... I just dont get how they have failed to even update us on Dragonmaster in over 7 months... "not soon, or even soon" well its been about 7 months since that post, and im curious how long not ever soon is.

except that I have mained swain for the last year and had a 75% winrate on him for a while, not to mention that I have gotten 4 1v5 pentakills since I started maining him last year (one of them without a mouse)

We haven't forgotten about this skin OP (TheBravoRay, skins-team's Swain super-fan, talks about it weekly). Not sure when it'll finally happen, I hope we can do it in 2015 but I can't promise anything.

Swain needs a badass legendary skin and giving him some awesome Dragon transformation anims would be really fun. Hype hype hype. I wanna animate dragons.

It would be awesome if you did Awakened Shyvana as a dual releases along with Dragonmaster Swain! You guys did do a duo release of the dragonslayer skins for pantheon and braum after all.

In other words, it's the cosmetic equivalent of the Fighter Rework. It's still floating around in the collective mind of Riot, but it'll probably never happen.

Considering Swain's last skin was released in 2012.. It has been 3 years!! I have been playing this game 3 years now and have witnessed many champions receiving 2 or even 3 skins during this time.. Ekko has got 1 less skin than Swain atm (counting his new academy one).. I understand that more popular champions are higher on the skin priority list for commercial reasons.. but 3 years?..

Just so nobody has any new expectations that will get crushed: Dragon Master Swain is not slotted for production at any point in 2016 currently. There was a glimmer of hope for the skin in 2015 when I posted that, but it wasn't able to happen.

Why Tristana over Swain?

Tristana has more skins. She has a legendary skin already. And Swain's last skin came out roughly the same time as Tristana's, except Tristana's had a visual update since then.

So why wasn't Tristana's 'Dragon Trainer' skin creation slot given to Swain for a Dragon Master skin instead?

Probably because they have plans for a small scale rework for Swain, just like Tristana, so they don't want to make a skin for him that would have all sorts of effects and such since they'd have to redo it. Since Tristana got her visual update she was a perfect choice for a skin of this level.

Why does Riot not care about Swain? He hasn't had a skin in over three years. At that point when there are no model limitations and no (announced) major rework plans it is just plain rude to Swain players and is ignoring the champ

You can say all you like about there being Swain players on the team, in the office, whatever. It doesn't mean anything if he never gets any skins

There might actually be some kind of upcoming rework for Swain.

He was mentioned as a champion not delivering adequately on the thematics front, nor having a very deep gameplay.

I did see one Rioter mention they didn't like Swain's kit on ask.fm I believe - but there have also been others that don't seem to have any plans for changes, see need for changes.

If it is the case they are planning a rework they should be upfront and say so instead of letting players drift in the wind for literally years.

to be honest i don't want to see a rework on swain just because they completely destroyed Mordekaiser , they still dont know what to do with him, they had him as a Marksmen wtf!!! come on Rito its like they don't know what to do anymore or run out of ideas.

Well, given your team's treatment of Yorick fans (going to be 6 years before a new skin at this rate), it really sucks that your company can't (or won't) deliver on the awesome Swain skin his fans deserve.

Is there any explanation we can get here? This has been one of the most asked for skins, and yet previous community created skins that weren't that interesting imho(ie. popstar ahri, bunny riven) were released on a much shorter time scale.. Champion popularity being the only real reason, I'm assuming. Not to mention the fact that other champions who already have a good amount of skins, including previous legendary skins, are now getting new legendaries. Dragon trainer trist seems like a slap to the face.

Is swain slated for a visual update/rework or something? Can we get any info as to why this skin was ignored?

Hopefully he'll get buffs in the immobile mage pass :'( The Snare nerf hurt, but I haven't got to play him since then, I think he got more after that....

Oooh it has been ages indeed!

I love Swain and has been my main champion even before this concept was around, I recall being totally hyped when I read about this concept back in the day!! I deeply desire this skin just because Swain is awesome and in dire need of a new skin, so I can switch it off with the tyrant one.

Please Riot, make Swain feared once more in the League, let him teach the cute little dragon tamers and whisperes, what fear can truly accomplish!

I love Swain and I do got his Tyrant skin, but I am sad that he hasn't gotten a new skin in a long while. I do appreciate he is getting a new splash art for his classic. I really want to see Dragonmaster Swain become a thing.
