Make ghosting streamers harder using a small change
I'm not a streamer, so it's not a priority to me, but I think it would be easy for Tiot to essentially end ghosting with a minor change. Ghosting is bad for league since this is a strategic game. It's hard to do a sneak attack if someone is watching where you using your vision map. Streamers have complained about ghosters for years. It's especially bad for junglers, whether or not they are the streamer, since constantly knowing where on the map the enemy jungler is is a great advantage. Waiting for a gank opportunity is impossible. Taking a risky invade is impossible.
To fix this problem you have to look into the ghost process. First, someone gets into the loading screen and they see that they are playing against a streamer they recognize. Then either they or a friend in the same room as them looks up that streamer and uses the streamer's map to know what is happening and what the team is planning. You can stop this by making the first step harder.
Simply allow people to not show their username to the enemy team. People who are already watching the stream will be able to ghost, but people who are ghosting vindictively will not be able to find out which of the hundreds of streamers they are going against. Also, one trick ponies will use this button so that the enemy team doesn't see they have 1000 games on a certain champion, which they would know if they have certain apps installed, like the overwolf app, that tells people how good they are at a champion in the loading screen. So about 90% of people just want privacy, and it would be much harder to find the 10% of people who are broadcasting their game. It is possible that someone will be watching a streamer in the background while getting into a game with them, but these people are usually fans of that streamer, and don't want to cheat them.
I'm only saying this because I think it'd improve the quality of jungle streams, and because I think it's possibly an easy thing to implement. It's just a bit of privacy before and during the game.
