Note: I'm not adding numbers to his abilities and everything because I can't balance champions too well so reply to this post with some numbers you think would work. I'm also a terrible artist so I don't have any art for him yet. And I am more than happy to give Riot the legal right to make this into an actual champion in the game, if they like this concept, if needed. I also changed his title to just "The Executioner" but i can't change the thread title for some reason.

Lore The Howling Marshes are a land of battle and death, and with war comes stories. People told stories of great battles that took place in the marshes. They spoke of all those who were beaten in the fights, some killed instantly, some left to bleed to death. But something would take their lives before they died to their wounds. As time went on and more died in the marshes, the rumors became more fact than myth. Eventually soldiers would see a phantom wielding a scythe, slashing down person after person. They said that as it killed it seemed to grow angrier and more powerful. Many sought to prove their strength by defeating the being. No one ever returned from those fights.

This specter became so feared that entire armies were too frightened to cross the marshes. Eventually the summoners decided to contain the phantom as they did with Nocturne. A group of them used a ill man who was certain to die as bait and waited for the specter to appear. He eventually emerged from the shadows, scythe in hand, to take the mans life. Before he could execute the man the summoners had trapped him with magic. After a week of questioning the intelligent ghost, the summoners had learned so little yet so much. The only name the phantom gave himself was Vorix. He claimed to gain power when someone dies near him and that he had grown powerful due to all the wars in the marshes. The summoners told him of the their plans to control him and use him in the Fields of Justice. Angered by the fact that they planned to take his free will and him having grown tired of all their questioning, he broke free from imprisonment and slaughtered all the summoners responsible for his capture.

Eager for more power Vorix decided to leave the marshes and go to join the League, but only under his own control. He was quickly introduced into the Fields of Justice and made the jungles of the rift and place of fear and death killing anything that moved. His power was unmatched and not even the toughest armor could withstand his blows. Eventually the League commissioners made a deal with Vorix. As long as he was in the rift his power would be lowered to a certain point at the start of every battle but they would have to bring him sacrifices of the elderly and sick every week to sedate his thirst for more power. Now stories are told of what might happen if Vorix ever decided to use the power he had gained in battle to kill every living thing there is.

"Through death comes power, and through power comes more death. I am the only one to witness the full cycle." -Vorix

Design Vorix has a ghostly look with blackened armor and tattered grey cloth underneath. The visible parts of his body are a black mist like Nocturne. On his head he wears a metal helmet much like an executioners hood with his dark blue eyes shining through. He wields his scythe with both hands. The scythe itself is spiked on the top of the blade and has a long, curved blade and shaft. The blade faintly glows dark blue as does parts of his armor. As he levels up and kills, the glow becomes brighter and brighter. Vorix normally walks around holding his scythe, with both hands, on the right side of his body and he drags his scythe, with one hand, behind him when he has the homeguard movement speed animation (high movement speed animation).

Abilities

Passive: Bliss of Death Vorix gains permanent attack damage and armor penetration upon kills and assists, if he deals the killing blow he gains bonus health regen and movement speed for a short time.

Q: Lacerate Passive: Vorix's attacks hit enemies in a cone in front of him applying on-hit effects. (Like Nidalee's cougar form swipe) Active: Vorix swings his scythe twice in the target direction sending two projectiles dealing damage to enemies it passes through and slowing them. Enemies hit directly by the the blade have their movement and attack speed reduced greatly, receive extra damage, and receive grievous wounds.

W: No escape Vorix uses his scythe to pull himself a short distance forward. He then slams his scythe into the ground again causing a small shockwave around him stunning and damaging enemies.

E: Deaths Grip Passive: Vorix gains bonus attack damage and lifesteal while enemy champions below 30% max health are nearby. Active: Vorix slashes his target, dealing true damage and healing himself for a percentage of the damage dealt.

R: Execute Vorix reveals every enemy champion below 50% max health (regardless of range or if invisible) and launches himself to target champion dealing damage to target and nearby enemies. Damage dealt to enemies is based on their missing health. If Vorix kills an enemy with this ability he regains a portion of his health instantly and reduces the cooldown of his abilities by ? seconds.

Thank you for reading and if you can post some ideas or work you may have done on him. And I am aware that he might be really overpowered if he was actually in the game but it's still fun to come up with these concepts.
