Lets get right into this shall we?

Quick note the (parenthesis) that I add in the lore, or elsewhere were written in my first draft and are explanations or my thoughts on certain segments of this champion concept.

I'm sure you would anyways, but feel freed to skip the lore if its not your thing.

LORE: Having been raised in a well off family living in a well off village in the Tempest Flats, Raven's childhood could only be described as picture perfect. Being the eldest child of a prosperous merchant-lord (think of his family as essentially the ruling caste in the village, his father can be viewed as Governor, General in times of war, as well as priest, so essentially a king in the sense that he held total control) Raven was well read and taught his numerical and literary skills by the best professors glittering gold could hire. In addition he was trained by arms teachers to wield lance, sword, spear, and ax as was expected seen as though Raven would be the one to inherit his fathers fortune as well as business and would lead the guards of the caravan against bandits as his father before him had.

Despite his expertise in all manner of arms Raven always preferred the sword, having heard all manner of tales from his youth telling of stalwart knights and magical blades that granted their wielder a shroud of invisibility or raged with fire . So for his sixteenth birthday (lets assume that this is the age that boys earn their manhood in this village culture) his father presented the young Raven with a bright sword the length of a long sword yet it was as light as parchment and had the word "Unity" , and his father told the awe-struck Raven that its enchantment would ensure that it never broke or was chipped.

Raven, now a man in all matters of speaking, carried his prized sword with him at all times, including to the storm races which was a traditional game-like competition. The young men of the village ventured out of the relative safety of their village to places were the tempests raged and would race headlong towards the storms with howling winds assailing them and battering them off course. The most daring contenders would continue to run deeper and deeper into the storm as the younger and less courageous youths would stop and turn back. (Note "Unity" would be strapped onto his back not as his side so as not to slow him as much, but running with swords is dangerous kids.)

It was during one of Raven's best runs in which he held the lead and was increasing the gap between himself and the closest racer when he ran across and injured bird, that on second look he identified as a raven which was something he had never seen before and he figured the bird must have been injured before the storm so that it had been unable to escape. Taking this as a sign from the gods ( though he knew knot what it would be of) he scooped up the raven, minding its broken wing and turned his back to the heart of the storm and retreated to the village.

He took care of the raven, now named Herald ( tempest herald but Herald for short), and the two became fond of each other. Herald followed Raven everywhere and his friends joked that the bird was closer to him than they were. Raven continued to take part in the storm races and Herald, ever faithful trusted and followed him as he raced into danger. Once again on one of his races Raven ran into an oddity, a storm cloud that was pitch black and seemed to suck the light and enjoyment out of the very races. Undeterred he raced the few others who shared his bravery and as the race was a good one for Raven as he held the lead, though only slightly (at least for this one). For the second time ever Raven beat out his competition, but he didn't stop, something about the tempest mesmerized him and he continued. Somehow, through miracle or some fell intent, Raven found himself in the eye of the storm. It was then that the storm seemed to collapse in on him, and he screamed in unison with Herald. As he was loosing consciousness his mind returned to the memory of whence his father presented him with Unity before his mind let go of his senses.

When he awoke the storm had passed but left something of itself with Raven. Through some foul magics the tempest fused Raven with Herald into an abomination. Raven's faced while still human was sharper and left his lower face wit ha sharp curving beak, his body now curved forward, his back grew two pinions, and his hands and feet were more talon like. Knowing that he could not return to his village he ventured off into the real world with a new more primal voice also speaking in his head (Herald, think of bird caws/body language being translated into short words not unlike how we characterize cavemen. Want meat. Flee, danger. etc.) He wandered the world as a vagabond swearing to never return to his village and to stay in exile, and was often the notice of bandits and thieves seeking an easy target, but Raven's skill with Unity proved too great for the lesser fighters to overcome as well as the storms that rose about him.

Tired of killing those who did not understand what he was capable of, he chose to seek a home in the halls of the Institute of War and on the Fields of Justice. He was readily allowed in to be a pawn of the summoners.

"To think children wish for wings" - Raven

ABILITIES:

Passive: Fell Winds The stormy winds that he once ran into still reside with him and swirl about Raven dealing Magic damage to 2 random enemies within 500 units of him every 2 seconds. Units struck gain a Tempest Mark ( so original wow, such Kennen) for 8 seconds. If a unit has 3 or more stacks of Tempest Mark they take priority of Fell Winds targets. If A unit receives 6 stacks it (champion, minions, monster, except Dragon and Baron of course) it is feared for .75/1.25/1.75/2.5 seconds ( this if from level 1-5, then 6-10, next 11-17, finally 18). Does 5/15/25/40 damage (same level rankings as with Tempest Mark) but this damage is halved against minions and jungle creeps. Upon fearing an enemy does an additional 40 Magic damage. A unit can not be feared twice within 15 seconds.

Q. Rending Beak: Raven's next auto attack (resets auto timer think Jax W) deals bonus PHYSICAL damage 40/60/80/115/165 (+.4 TOTAL AD) This attack applies on hit effects. If the target is feared additional deals 2% of the targets Max Health as True Damage, and 2% of the targets Missing Health as Magic Damage. CD:16/15/14/13/12 (For reference with 40% CDR these become 9.6/9/8.4/7.8/7.2 , included decimals as I do not know how LOL account for them.) Mana Cost: 50/60/65/70/75

W. Tempest Dive: Raven dashes 900 units to a location dealing Magic Damage and slowing enemies within 500 units by 20% for a second and enemies within 250 Units by 50% for 1.5 seconds. Deals 60/90/130/170/210 (+.6 AP +.4 BONUS AD). Stops upon hitting a champion. If the champion hit has no stacks of Fell Winds he gains two as well as instantly gaining priority CD: 27/23/20/17/14 (For reference with 40% CDR these become 16.2/13.8/12/10.2/8.4 , included decimals as I do not know how LOL account for them.) Mana Cost: 65/75/95/115/125 (I only have a general reasoning of how far the dash is, this is one thing that I would keep an eye on as it is supposed to be about Fiora's new Q and a half distance. Not sure if this would be too much as an escape, but I'm trying to peg a decent CD and Mana cost on it to even this out.)

E. Primal Senses: 2 part ability. Active: Herald's spirit speaks within Raven granting him bonus Movement Speed, Attack Speed, and Armor/Magic Resistance. Move Speed:20/25/30/35/50 % bonus Movement Speed for 3 and Attack Speed for 6 seconds. When active doubles you dodge chance (see below). Passively: Takes 4/8/12/22 less damage from auto attacks (At 1-5/6-10/11-17/18). In addition have 6% chance to dodge Auto Attacks as well as Abilities.

R.Unity: Raven, Herald, and Unity draw strength from nearby allies and return a portion of this strength as health to them. For each nearby ally (900 unit circle) gain 10/20/30 bonus AD and AP (Includes yourself so at least get 10/20/30). Heals all nearby allies for twice the total ( ex level 6 R near all allies so you get 50 AD/AP heals nearby allies for 100 because 50 AD + 50 AP).

Thoughts? What is balanced what isn't? I will likely add/ edit his later when I have the time. Hope you like it.
