Lore Skins versus Alternate Universe Skins

What do you enjoy more: Lore Skins, tied to the stories of Runeterra, such as Captain Fortune, or Alternate Universe Skins, such as Star Guardian Lux?

For me, it's the Alternate Universe Skins, as a lot of them are tied to popculture, and, in some cases, are just hilarious (Dunk Master Darius). Also I do feel that outside from promoted Events the lore is just not very accessible, is retconned too often, and, in some places, just incomplete and not satisfying. I do enjoy skins like Captain Fortune for their aesthetical value, but it doesn't bring me closer to the background story of League.

For me it all depends on the overall design and look of the skin itself. Sadly there aren't a whole lot of "lore skins" as of yet, so this is kind of a tilted question. The only lore skins we have thus far are the Bilgewater event skins for MF, Graves, TF and GP so we'll need to wait and see what else riot does with this idea.

I like the alternate skins better like desert garen belongs to shrima which i think is pretty cool item 3742 Yasuo
