Hiccup between Chronological View and Discussion View

Hi, RIOT! I'd like to report, well, it's not a bug, just a little design quirk that was made without the end user in mind. It is great that you can switch between Chronological View and Discussion View, however since Discussion View is the default view lots of people click "Reply" and don't bother to quote the post they're answering, making for a frustrating and often non-sequitur seeming read in Chronological View. Perhaps a button titled "Show post answered to" or something similar could help?

Also, since I don't want to open another thread for this: Please get rid of the "Show More" button at the end of each page and let us instead freely browse through old threads at our leisure - or at least give us the option to do so.
