Jax's Ultimate Skin idea
While ultimate tier skins show the most powerful form of said champion, with Jax there is a problem, and it's that this one is supposed to already be ultimate-like in power level, but... Why not spinning the concept a bit and instead use the skin to show how Jax became "The Grandmaster"
Ranked Jax (provisional name), depicts the beginnings of Jax while also using the new Ranked badges as inspiration for the outfits, and the player can unlock each upgrade by achieving lp, that can be obtained by fulfilling certain duties, like killing an enemy, lasthitting a minion/jungle monster, upping the vision score or claiming objectives.
Iron Jax A misterious and weakened warrior that appeared out of nowhere in Bilgewater and soon adopted an Iron armor with aesthetics adapted to Bilgewater in order to better fit in and survive.
Bronce Jax After his experience in Bilgewater, the warrior travels to Zaun, with hopes of finding a cure for the corruption that is claiming his soul and mind. In Zaun he dons a Bronce armor with chemtech devices to better help him cope, not only with his sickness, but with the toxicity of Zaun.
Silver Jax Zaun ends up being incapable of healing the Warrior, and he decides to travel upwards to the land of progress, where he dons a silver armor with Hextech technology that also servers to aid him in his weakened state
Gold Jax Piltover proves unable to help him too, and so he sets forward to the land that saw him rise, Shurima. Facing the dangerous beasts there the Piltovian armor breaks, and the warrior stumbles by pure chance with the ruins of an ancient Shuriman emperor. Is the Sun magic inside this armor the only thing that proves able to keep the corruption at bay, so the warrior has to keep it, as much as wearing it hurts his Icathian pride
Platinum Jax It was clear now that the corruption is eating at his spirit, and so he travels to the land where magic flows and the spirits are free, Ionia. Here the spirits reinforce his armor with sacred materials, while also empowering our warrior way over his previous strenght. Jax is back
Diamond Jax In old transcripts Jax discovers the truth about the real Targon and the past they have in common with Shurima and The Void, and so decides to reach the top of Mount Targon and ask for help, not only with his corruption, but with the Void itself. In this form, Jax is finally showing signs of Void mutation.
At the Top of Mount Targon Jax became the greatest warrior, the climb didn't claim him, and so he reached the top, where his might surprised even the aspects. These granted him an armor made of unnatural crystals that were said to be able to absorb Void energy, and so would not only heal Jax over time, but also protect him in his next mission, where he would have to reach the core of the Void.
Master Jax As soon as Jax reached certain depth inside the Void, his crystal armor mutated into a living being, a bio armor made of crystals and a strange liquid like substance. At first the armor seemed to cooperate with him, but this only lasted as much as Jax kept killing unending Void beings, for when our warrior, exhausted after months of fighting in the depths of the Void, decided to get out and look for new warriors to recruit, the armor turned against him and tried to devour its former owner.
Grandmaster Jax Killing the armor while inside the Void left Jax in a vastly mutated state, so in order to be able to recruit warriors, he travelled to Noxus and adquired a highly ornamental Noxian armor made of dark metals. His newly mutated Void form gave him even greater power, but he needed something that was able to keep the overflowing and corrosive Void energy inside, at least until he can finally control and seal it.
Challenger Jax Jax's strongest form, wielding a demacian petricite armor, it travels the whole world looking for worthy opponents while also hidding his own monstruous form. His petricite weapon and armor, along his incredibly might and magic powers give 0 chance for any contender to defy him and come out in a stable condition, so Jax decides he has to set some handicaps on himself... Maybe he can finally get to use that old lamp post he took from a dying Icathia centuries ago....
This skin would show us the hardship-filled path Jax took to became the master he is right now, and how many sacrifices he had to do in order to survive after Icathia's fall in "Where Icathia Once Stood"
Every ultimate skin has a special mechanic, and Jax's could be "Armies of Icathia", that means that minions will spawn in the same team as Jax, and the will undergo the same process that Jax did, upgrading from Iron armored to Challenger graded minions as they keep scalling depending on how long the match lasts.
I know it's quite the wall of text, but still would love to get some feedback about the concept in order to improve it, so many thanks to everyone that reads it and decides to give me a hand with feedback or advices.
