Bard Portal Idea Tweak/Improvement?!

So I was thinking of a minor way to improve bard a tad to keep up with the rest of the support champion line up and something came to thought! Lets be honest the difference in speed in which enemies and teammates travel through the portal isn't much to say it really hinders the enemies. So I was thinking that What if on Bards portal that he creates that not only does it slow the travel time of the enemy team who uses it minorly but it also deals damage! Like maybe does Magic damage + hp% magic damage to enemies who choose to use it. I think this could be a good mechanic/tweak to his ability making him a little more viable in league play! Riot any possible interests in an idea like this?? :) I think this could really be the minor buff that he needs
