[Champion Concept] Amanzi, the Ocean's Charge

- Extra — General Concept A couple days ago I started looking around the internet for cool champion concepts that I could evolve and adapt. While I didn’t find any specific one, I did find a skin concept of Talon which gave me the idea of a creature mixed between an eel and an octopus. I wanted him to be a deep sea creature imbedded with a little magic but mostly reliant on his grasping tentacles and electricity. I also liked the idea of making him weaker out of water, so I made him find a body of a man and plant himself atop the body, giving him the ability to walk as well as slight strength in the physical world. By combining all these things, I came up with the idea of Amanzi. — Background Amanzi is a deep sea creature, one of many in a tribe that hunted beneath the ocean with contained electric fields and grasping tentacles to snatch prey. Amanzi’s tribe faired well, with a casual progression of life. But recently, Amanzi had noticed that many of his tribe had been dying out of no where, acquiring sickness that had never been seen before and suddenly getting lost. No one in the community what could have made this happen, until one day when Amanzi had went hunting with his good friend, Ulwandle. As Amanzi and Ulwandle were swimming to the hunting grounds, his friend suddenly stopped, as if being yanked back by a sudden force. Ulwandle screamed in pain as a gash appeared in one of his many tentacles, and he began to be pulled to the surface. Amanzi could not catch him, but he realized what was happening. Humans had been killing his kind, poisoning them by intoxicating the water and catching them in their nets. Amanzi would have nothing of it. He began to swim to the surface, ready to fight for his people. — Lore For the Lore I decided to do two things, but they both related to how Amanzi got his body. One is a poster ( which I have the text for but not the actual poster ) explaining the loss of a Noxian lieutenant and a short monologue from Amanzi expressing his anger

They, will, die . . . — Visuals Amanzi is not your conventual creature. He has a compressed sphere for a head, which is ringed at the the top with bright yellow eyes. His mouth is small and filled with sharp, piranha like teeth, and it is normally considered the front of his head. At the base of his head are many tentacles, each a long, slightly elastic, electric blue with sharp pads at the end. His tentacles corse with static electricity. At the top of his head is a floating tetrahedron, which slightly glows a green blue, and is used in his possession spell. Amanzi is planted atop a strong human body, due to the fact that he cannot walk on land and it is difficult for him to constantly be levitating, and the body is pretty much devoid of clothes, accept for raggedy sandals and destroyed shorts. Still the body is quite strong and well toned, and in each of it’s palms lies smaller tetrahedrons, similar to the one on Amanzi’s head. You know how I said he has many tentacles. The problem is that you cannot see most Amanzi’s tentacles when he is atop his body, but still 7 do poke out and can be seen swirling around him. Amanzi’s body doesn’t walk well since Amanzi is still becoming accustomed to controlling a human body, so it is much more of a shambling. When he attacks he lashed out with his tentacles, sticking them to his opponent as I will explain later.

Passive Ability Grasping Tentacles: Amanzi’s tentacles have a slight stick to them, allowing them to attach to enemy characters with auto-attacks. His abilities interact with those struck by his tentacles. Amanzi has a max of 7 tentacles stuck to all targets, and if he attacks someone while not having any unstuck tentacles the least recent tentacles to be stuck is unstuck from it’s target. Amanzi’s tentacles last for 6 seconds, and have a max stuck range of 900 units. If a target has 4 tentacles stuck in them, they are stunned for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. (Levels 1/5/9/13/18) Once a target is stunned he cannot be stunned for another 12 seconds.
*For future reference a target with a tentacle(s) in them will be known as stuck
Ability 1 Surge: Amanzi sends a bolt of energy through his tentacles, dealing damage to all stuck targets and slowing those with multiple tentacles in them Amanzi deals (20/45/70/95/120 + 0.3 AP) Magic damage to all stuck targets, dealing 25% less damage per subsequent tentacle on the target down to a cap of 25%. If a target has 5 or more tentacles in them they are slowed by (10/25/40)% for 1 second
Mana Cost: 55/60/75/80 Mana Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 Seconds
*The slow scales off the number of tentacles in them, so with 5 tentacles they are slowed by 10% but with 6 tentacles 25% and with 7 tentacles 40%
Ability 2 Suction: Amanzi tugs on his tentacles, pulling all stuck targets towards him based on the number of tentacles in them. Amanzi pulls all stuck targets 175 units towards him per tentacle stuck in them. All tentacles are removed from the stuck targets
Mana Cost: 110 Mana Cooldown: 19/17/15/13/11
Ability 3 Grasp: Amanzi sends three tentacles forwards, damaging and grasping the first target they hit. Amanzi sends three tentacles forwards dealing (70/100/130/160/190 + 0.5 AP) Magic damage to the target and sticking them with three tentacles
Mana Cost: 55/65/75/85/95 Mana Range: 850 Units Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 Seconds
*Like Amanzi’s auto-attacks, if Amanzi has all 7 of his tentacles stuck, this ability takes the least recent stuck tentacles
Ultimate Ability Disembody: Amanzi rolls of his body, levitating and creating an area of energy and tentacles around him while controlling his body separately. Amanzi falls of his body for (6/7/8) seconds, dealing (10/20/30 +0.1 AP) Magic Damage every half second to all enemies in the area. Amanzi retains control of his seven tentacles, but all enemies in the area are considered to have 3 additional tentacles stuck to them for the sake of Amanzi’s spells, but the max number of tentacles that can affect a target is still seven. During the duration of the spell, Amanzi can also control his body with the (Ultimate Ability) button. It deals (0.4 AP + 1.0 AD) Magic damage per auto attack. At the end of the duration of the spell Amanzi looses his aura of energy and tentacles and quickly flees directly back to his body and reattaches with it.

Joke Amanzi tickles his body “I would make a joke about waves, but they always seem to crash” “Get this thing off of me. Oh wait, that’s me” “These tentacles can be used for more than killing, you know”
