Actually this is a remake of one of my previous ideas, changed up to suit everyone better. Maybe. Probably not. Moving on.

Lore: As a child, Venev was a very intelligent boy. He studied everything he could, understood every concept, conceived many ideas. But one concept he could never understand was why he never had any friends in his tiny town. He could never figure out why the other children didn't like him. He simply came to the conclusion that some people were disgraces to humanity, without compassion or feeling for others. He drew this conclusion at a young age and never dwelled on it, simply letting it be a single forgotten thought in his vast mind.

Vast as mind was, he still had very limited knowledge compared to many other people. So when he became a teenager he told his parents he was going to move to Piltover. Sadly, the only people to see him off were his parents, which brought up that old thought. When he arrived at Piltover it was all he could think about. He had to figure it out.

He spent so much time in a small building with tons of papers, diagrams, and documents of his other studies. But he only focused on that one idea. Soon he became unable to support himself because he had not come up with any beneficial and productive ideas or studies, and was forced to work in a mining facility.

Because of the work, he had almost no time to study. It was endless work, and he wasn't used to it. It had a large toll on him. His body, though he anticipated it to adapt and grow strong, did the opposite. It grew weaker and weaker and he grew tired. It was like torture to him.

Then one fatal day the mining facility was attacked by a crew of criminals, causing one of the tunnels to collapse. Venev thought it was the end, but one of the criminals decided to stay behind, as if having a change of heart, and help them. The criminal managed to take advantage of the miners' tools and successfully destroyed the rubble of the tunnel, freeing all of the workers. After the experience, Venev realized that maybe all of humanity wasn't heartless. He grew new hope for humanity, and decided to accept them, even if they didn't accept him.

He quit studying that one idea and began to make new studies. Now he travels and explores Runeterra, seeking more knowledge.

Friends: Ezreal

Abilites: * Venev has an attack with a small range, sort of half way between the general ranged and melee*

Passive: Thirst for Knowledge: Whenever Venev stays within a certain area of the map for more than 20 seconds, he documents it, gaining a document. Venev cannot document the same area for 3 minutes after documenting it, and can't document anywhere before 2 minutes into the game. Whenever he gains a document he gains some experience, and is restored a little health and mana.

Q: Precision: Venev carefully plans his next attack, causing it to gain range, deal bonus damage, and always hit. It will deal 30/50/70/90/125 + 40% AP. It will gain 200 range and will always hit, even if Venev is blinded, the enemy has a special effect (Jax E, Panth Passive, Fiora Parry, more). Cooldown: 12/11.25/10.75/10/9 seconds. Mana cost: 25/30/35/40/50

W: Ponder: Venev channels for a few seconds, gaining health and mana. Venev channels for 2 seconds, gaining 50/100/150/200/250 +25% AP health and 50/80/110/140/175 +25% AP mana. If the channel is cancelled by crowd control effects the health and mana will be gained instantly. Whenever you get a document this ability's cooldown resets. Cooldown: 17/16.5/16/15/14 seconds. Mana cost: none.

E: Mental Note: Venev deals damage to an enemy. Venev deals 60/120/180/240/300 + 50% AP + 4 x Documents magic damage to his target. There is also a chance of stunning the target, equal to 7 x documents.Cooldown: 14/13.25/12.5/11/10 seconds. Mana Cost: 60/70/75/80/90 mana.

R: KNOWLEDGE!!!: Venev deals 120/240/360 + 75% AP + 10 x number of documents magic damage to his target. He loses all his documents but resets all areas, allowing him to document all of them. Cooldown: 105/92/79 seconds. Mana cost: 100/125/150 mana.

W is broken as in super OP. Chance of stunning is weird interaction/he technically has 0 crowd control and 0 escapes. He seems like a much weaker Veigar - does less dmg, super limited by cooldowns in comparison. Plus, his damage output is really weak unless he wanders the map. Keep working on him, I like the ideas.

I really really like the passive and I like the champion idea. the idea of a guy who just travels around studying places. This feels like what bard should have been. Really good job. The Q is interesting but i'm not sure how healthy for the game it is, but I am not an expert. It just doesnt seem fair against champions who have those mechanics. Poor Fiora... XD

Theres a few things that bug me about the champion:

  • The document stacking. It somehow doesnt seem right. This guy is obviously meant as a jungler, so obviously the enemy laners wont know how powerful he is when he ganks until they get ganked. the stacking mechanic sounds a but like a random element. Like, BOOM suddenly this guy comes out of a bush and kills you because he has a ton of stacks of documents. Not a lot of counterplay there.

  • The random aspect of E. Random chance is something that Riot specifically tries to avoid and as such it is slowly making its way away from the game. For now, only a few instances remain(Crits, fiddles bird, TF's deck of cards. Stuff like that.) and those are slowly being removed(Like gangplanks ultimate got reworked.)

Other than that Gj. I think the W might be a bit overpowered. Maybe it can be replaced by a more thematic ability. I like the champion idea though. Also the story was really great. Maybe cheesy at times but still great. League needs more goodhearted characters.
